Yeah. Some time has passed since his show was on air so I had forgotten about him but as an afterthought, he was truly a genius of sketch comedy, although maybe not so much with his stand-up. He was just so awesome at soaking up pop-culture and making us laugh with it.

I've been getting into Manzai again in the last couple of years and my favorite is none other than Hitoshi Matsumoto. In my opinion, Matsumoto (and his partner Hamada) has single handedly changed what Manzai is. If I had to pick one single comedian to represent Japan, it would be him.
