is it just me or is it like wayyy off beat...

i like the beat alot, and the lyrics are good, but they just dont go togeather untill the corus comes in

I don't know about the track because I never heard the og to compare both. But as far as the lyrics goes it's probably one of my favorite track on UTEOT. All that political stuff is interesting and complex at the same time. The way Pac storytells is just flawless.

That is correct Einstein...but to me, that beat compared to the one Pac used is different...its slightly modified and besides, J J sold how many records? No knock on J, cuz he's a damn good producer.

the original is real nice. i've always felt that pac wrote it in a matter of minutes and just wanted to get in the studio quickly and record. so he asked for a quick beat and did his business. beat may be "hardcore" for some but it compliments the lyrics and his mood perfectly.
