After reading
this I don't understand how anyone can drink milk. You may as well drink urine.
If you liked that site, maybe you'll like this one as well:
9/11 was a Hoax: The American government killed its own people
Now, if I may... He initially goes:
"
Now, we are a nation of milk drinkers. Nearly all of us. Infants, the young, adolescents, adults and even the aged."
Then, about 2 paragraphs further down, he uses an effectively unsourced quote (which is another point to make - I'll quote the head chief diet and nutrition researcher in Norway, Thorvald Haraldsson. He said "Stop using bullshit quotes to support your arguments".) from some decade old magazine. The funny thing is, the quote contradicts what I pasted above:
"
Indeed, of all the mammals, only humans - and then only a minority, principally Caucasians - continue to drink milk beyond babyhood."
K. The whole article is made in a way that, every argument assumes that you already agreed with the previous argument. His use of language is sneaky. It's almost as if I read a "(am I right?)" behind all his sentences. I'm finding it hard to disagree with what he's typing, even when I do disagree with it. That obviously makes me question this whole bullshit. I don't feel like I'm reading the words of someone who, out of good intentions, want to inform me of this problem, if should I wish to take action against it. I feel like a person is telling me why I'm doing something wrong. It's as if he assumes that I'm consciously drinking milk BECAUSE I think it's so fucking great. Btw it's very USA-centric as well. About all those different substances found in milk around the U.S., yea, I'm not worried about those over here. Norway is cleaner than the U.S.
Also, I sort of take offense to your "I have no idea how anybody could drink milk". Not because I drink milk, but because I like to entertain the idea that I should be able to drink milk if I like it. I drank bad milk once, which made me quit milk for a year. Then I drank bad milk again, and now, every time I drink it that bad-milk-taste is convoluted in the actual milk taste. I don't fuck with it anymore.
I don't understand what you don't understand when it comes to people drinking milk. I think
your diet sounds completely fucking disgusting. Soy burgers and rice milk? Lmao, I would commit suicide, no joke. Foods that involve meat are actually too important to my overall happiness (serious) for me to give them up. I might as well give up sex, or sleep. It's that essential to me. I could say the same thing to you, that I don't understand WTF you're thinking. But you already explained a million times what you're thinking, I know exactly what you're thinking, and even though I think it's fucking silly I don't try to belittle you with it by suggesting it is so obscure that I can't in fact guess what it is. If you were being serious, you are not intuitive enough to know if the information you read is true or not. If you can't understand why I am not disgusted with milk, truthfully, you have below average IQ. I actually think you have a pretty high IQ though, according to you, so that makes me believe you just said it just to be an ass, or used it to make a point that you somehow think is obvious, but that actually isn't. (Remember that you, as a vegan, are still a minority. Things that are obvious to you... You get where I'm going. It wasn't personal.)
So again I let you pull me into the vegetarian discussion lol. I'll explain why it bothers me so fucking much that you want to convert people. See, you have this strong opinion about a matter in which I have none. I am 100% fine with having no opinion about it, too. I like meat. I'll fucking eat it. Or if I feel like getting something else, I'll get something else. I'm not gonna feel bad about it, but I also don't want to have to think about it. I don't understand why you would want me to. Why do you try to impose guilt and sadness onto my life? What kinda fucked up person are you to be doing that? And you wanna say I'm mean cause I eat meat?
So yeah. I don't like it when people don't see the hipocrisy. Yes, I will call it hipocrisy when people can't accept that they're being weird about something. I play WoW, I don't pretend like it's my right and that you should respect it. I know it's the geekiest fucking thing in the world you could do. I expect to be namecalled. You should too, cause you're being a hippie with the food shit. I don't actually personally feel like you are, because I'm not like that, but that's the thing a lot of people could throw in your face and there would be other people out there agreeing with them. I'm not trying to use scientific data to prove you wrong in this discussion, never have. I'm not trying to get you to change your mind, I'm just trying you to let me have my opinion in peace without judging me for it.
Okay, if you read through what I wrote above which came 100% from the heart, pretend I wrote it to someone else and don't take it personally, and you will see why I can stomach the concept of drinking milk. We're totally fucking different dude. What you're doing, it's like trying to get an atheist to fear God. I'll turn your sentiment on you: I don't understand what would possess you to even question the act of drinking milk in the first place. Worry much? Not the starving children in Africa, not helping Tsunami victims in Asia. No. People that eat meat. That's the primary concern of the world. This is what I will now focus all my power on.
The point that I've always tried to make in all these vegetarian threads, the point I am still trying to make, is that I never said ANYTHING like that to you. Not until you started it. I didn't break the ice. The meat eaters of SH didn't start this war. It started with a vegetarian preaching vegeterianism. Then people disagreed, the vegetarian took it personal and started arguing back. You know, like all arguments start. I never tried to impose on you. I never tried to push my opinion down your throat, unless as a response to you doing the very same thing to me in the first place. I could very well make daily threads about why I think you vegetarians suck ass, but I respect your right to an opinion. And your cause happens to be noble, so even more respect!! Do me and all the people like me a favor and return the favor for the future. Just think about it. You can be a vegetarian without doing it like Jehova's witnesses. You can simply just be a vegetarian
for you, like say Chronic for example.
I mean, ideally I'm sure I could rock the vegan style. My body could absolutely use it. Maybe one day I will. I assure you, that if you think you are planting seeds or whatever, you're not. Most people are intuitive, and whatever conclusion you've come to, we're all capable of it. I have my own little ongoing internal discussion about vegetarianism that you will not be able to affect though. I've lived for as long as you, I've had the same amount of thoughts in my life. The only data I take into account in my analysis of should I become a vegetarian or not, are those I observe when people aren't trying to sell me an idea, like that guy in the link you quoted. All your preaching is throwing a fork in the natural process I would have to go through to become a vegetarian though, because you try to make me feel like an idiot and thus turn it into a matter of ego and freedom. If it happens, it'll happen after I read a book on my own initiative, or after I get fed up with some annoyance like being overly stuffed with meat and feeling heavy. It will be the result of something that happens to me and only me. It will
not happen when someone tries to make it happen. So not only does it annoy people, but it's counter-productive to your own cause to try and spread your ideas in such a manner as belittling those that disagree. If you think a little about yourself and how you respond to the same kind of sentiments, you know I'm right. If I made a thread dissing the genre of music you are in, and started giving you my arguments for why another genre of music is a better suited direction for you, what would your response be?
edit: all that said though, i should note that i'm just discussing for the sake of discussing. i don't really care lol. sorry i didn't get back to you on that pm btw, but yeah, all those things you mentioned sounds good. tshirts, all that shit

I hit a financial stint but just hold 2 copies of the comp, 2 shirts, 2 of everything and i _will_ grab it off of you when I'm back in black (soon hopefully).
