I played it for a bit at my friends place, and not much of it seemed different. I asked the same buddy a month later if he finished it. He told me it's not worth getting, the story gets a bit dull in the latter parts of the game. It's always like that with expansions for the most part though
Iwas going to post my thought on number one and a link to more info to two but this site is retarded fucking slow the past day so i will save it for later.
I played Awakening and really enjoyed it. A good expansion. Kind of like a continuation to Dragon Age with a lot of new things that were missing in normal Dragon Age. Many interesting quests.
It's not too long but took about two weeks for me to complete. (With my pace it took me about 2 months to finish DA).
*Spoiler alert*
The only downside to me would be - companions. I always thought that Oghren was boring and in DA I would rather take the dog instead of him. In Awakening he's the best companion because others are boring. There's only one that had a potential to be cool but it's not there for long.
So number two is a story being told to someone, and then you play through that story? How this is implemented will either make or break the game.
Dragon Age was dope, my only beef with it is that once you reach level 11 or 12 the game becomes too easy. Even on nightmare, I struggled the first ten levels or so but after that it was a joke.
