According to TMZ, Dr. Dre has filed a lawsuit against Bruce Williams, the author of the book Rollin’ with Dre, over a loan that was never paid back to him.
Dr. Dre (real name: Andre Young) is suing the author for an estimated $100,377.85.
Rollin' with Dre: The Unauthorized Account: An Insider's Tale of the Rise, Fall, and Rebirth of West Coast Hip Hop gives fans an in-depth look at the life of Dr. Dre.
Highlights of the book include – the story of Dre’s “deadly” feud with Death Row Records, the rise and “fall” of Tupac Shakur and Suge Knight’s legal battles.
Since the book’s initial release on March 25, 2008, it has received many positive reviews from fans.
In related news, Dr. Dre’s third and final album, Detox, is due for release early next year at the latest.
Dawaun Parker, Hi-Tek, J.R. Rotem, DJ Khaled, Mel-Man, RZA, Scott Storch and Warren G will all be contributing to the album.
