FaridShakur over at Makaveli-4ever just posted up a new clip of Dopefiends Diner that includes the hook. Props to thuglifearmy.com for the clip. As expected imo the hook sounds terrible and definitely has nothing to do with the song itself and changes up the mood. Like i stated in the other thread the first clip sounded promising but Amaru always has a way of fucking up songs with gay ass hooks. So the link is below for you guys to check out and post up your thoughts.

The hook woulda been more suited for a song like Whatz Next not this song. The problem i have with it is that it completely changes up the mood of the song and really has nothing to do with it.

whats the original song that pacs verse melody comes from? i know it, but cant remember off the top of my head.

never mind, i just remembered it's "tom's diner" by suzanne vega.

DP - I heard Mike Philly talkbox this track at one of the Prince aftershows in London. it was sickkkk, he did it as a breakdown in between doing "one nation under a groove".

hol shit what's this garbage?

Pac's verse was so dope.. damn I'm about to cry ;(

not really, just fuck Amaru for fucking up awesome tracks.

And I said in the other tread it's gonna be a classic :(

EDIT:

Hey guys maybe it's a chorus to totally different track?
It doesn't fit there at all, maybe it's a remix of other song?
Like resist the temptation or something?

It's unbelievable if they did something like that to Dopefiend's dinner, it's totally different vibe, even the beat is totally different

Wow, why all the hate, im loving this track so far, maybe I'm just hot up for new material, but its sounds aight to me.

I'd honestly agree with that if those songs in the clip are in fact 2 different songs. Then both dopefiend's dinner and the other remix sound dope. There are simple theories that it's 1 track - in this case they fucked up totally.

I hope it's not that bad tho. They wouldn't destroy such a classic track by 2pac.

The beat sounds touched anyway but it's not bad.

You can tell it's the same track cause the instrumental is essentially the same. They need to mix his vocals over an instrumental that corresponds with the track that they sampled. That would be tight.

Here's the song they sampled by the way.

Props to Casey Rain for identifying it otherwise I woulda never known who/what the track was even though I recognized what it sampled. Basically they should use a similar beat as the video above, take out the hook and just have the "too-doo" singing in the background during where the hook is supposed to be.
