I'm just posting this because I'm curious about what Pac planned to do after the Makaveli album dropped. I'm really interested in discussion about what he would have done after the album up until this day, what I know thus far is well known to most people:

*He planned to cultivate acts for his own label.
*Drop an album once every four to five years (doubtful this would have happened, even if it was his intention)
*Euphanasia

When Pac was alive he must have talked to people about what he could envisage for the future even if it wasn't made public or common knowledge. I wonder if he had a set plan with album titles and releases etc...personally I get the distinct impression he was actually planning to release an album with the title 'Better Days' but can't say for certain.

In this thread, lets discuss what his plans were (if anybody knows) AND....I don't want this to turn into a lame topic like "Yeah, if Pac was here now Ja Rule would get punked" or "He would be on Aftermath" etc...

BUMP.

he was going to do one nation and he said he had enough material for 2 more albums atleast. moat of it was the stuff released on uteot and better dayz.

or maybe he was reffering to 7 day theory because it wasnt released yet and the second was one nation.

^RUSD & UTEOT...they were both completed before, and in anticipation of his death.

"I already got 2 albums ready, so if I die or whatever, it can happen"

he was going to get into politics and open his own record label and give young people a chance to get out of the ghetto...

RUSD was done during the MATW era.... and UTEOT is death row era so he couldnt have been talkin bout those 2

R U Still Down was most definitely NOT an album intended for release by Pac. They were all just some leftover songs from 1992-1994 pretty much. I don't know why you guys are talking about Until the End of Time and Better Dayz like Pac intended those to be albums with those songs.

All I remember is Pac talking about an album that is like a "Me Against the World part 2" (as he called it) and Makaveli.

He wanted to have an eight hundred number for people to call anytime. This is the one idea that with enough money and work is possible by someone else. Personally, I really like this idea and know it would be amazing if ever put into action. -Peter

Makaveli IS "Me Against the World part 2", in Pac's words

he had a contract for 2 more albums with Death Row.
some of the songs from the Makaveli era might have been songs he intended to release. consider that The 7 Day Theory includes the remakes of Live & Die In L.A (he wrote in '94) and Toss It Up (originally recorded when Dre was signed on Death Row).
the other project might have been One Nation, and that was an Amaru/Duckdown project.

When did he say that? I don't think it was, in the interview Pac decribed the "Me Against the World part 2" as being "all clean, all positive." Those are words that I wouldn't use to describe Makaveli, even though it is my favorite album. There isn't a single song on there without cussing, and there are definitely songs on there that aren't positive.

He only had ONE more album to release with Death Row before his contract was completed. All Eyez on Me counted as two, since it was a double album. I'm not 100% sure, but I thought that "Toss It Up" was recorded after Dre left; only the (original) beat existed. But since it was recorded at Death Row, Suge (owning his masters, as everybody and their mothers knows) has the right to use any of them in any manner he wants, so he just gave it to K-Ci & JoJo and Danny Boy and Aaron Hall, then Pac jumped on the song. This is from the issue of XXL where they talk about the making of Makaveli:

E.D.I.: That's a song that was already done with Danny Boy and Jodeci on it. That's my least favorite song on Makaveli. 'Pac just got on the track and did his thing. That was some shit him and Suge had already worked out. And the crazy part that a lot of people don't know is that that song was originally to [Blackstreet's] "No Diggity" beat, 'cause [Dr.] Dre had did that "No Diggity" beat while he was still at Death Row. And Suge had it. But then Dre sold the shit to Teddy Riley. THe beginning of those songs were almost exactly alike. I don't know who bit off who. I ain't here to start no shit, but in the beginning, "No Diggity" and "Toss It Up" were almost exactly alike. Yeah, you would have to be there to know that.

i think at first pac was gonna release rusd on deathrow soon as he came fom jail, jus so he could use up old material and that would be 1 of the 3 he needed to do,but he started aeom and didnt bother wit releasein rusd, also didnt he start one nation before makaveli if so i think his og plan was to release rusd, aeom and one nation on deatrow then he could release makaveli on the makaveli lable but seein that he didnt use rusd he released aeom, makaveli and the one nation was gonna cum next

You're referring to the handwritten terms that he made that can be found in the Tupac: Resurrection book, right? I forgot about that. He probably planned to have an album with that name in the beginning, but it was probably going to be VERY different from the R U Still Down that came out in 1997, more than likely consisting mostly of all-new Death Row material.

Damn...It's sad thinking about the potential illness he could have contributed to hip hop after the Makaveli album...

Why did One Nation never get released?
What were the tracks that have leaked from the project?

I've been looking through Better Days and UTEOT...I don't think Pac would have used any of those songs on any future releases he would have brought out....Letter 2 My Unborn (I'm almost sure about that one), Thug N U Thug N Me, Street Fame, maybe My Block are the only ones I think he might of dropped on future albums but it's doubtful and just my opinion. Remember Pac had the chance to use all of these for the Makaveli and didn't use them so I'm thinking they probably wouldn't have seen the light of day had he not passed.

I think he would of hopped on tracks with a lot of East Coast acts to show his love for NY...he was in the mentality of killing the whole East VS West beef if you look at the last interviews conducted with him.

*Fortune and Fame would have dropped on an Outlawz album as a single.
