Damn, some of you guys were pretty hard on Syn. if she chooses not to wear one, no matter how ignorant it may seem to you not to wear one, thats her decision and she's the one who has to live with any consequences that come with that. while her reasoning may not be the smartest, it's still her choice whether she wears one or not. as for me, i wear it more often than not, but like everyone here who says they ALWAYS wear them, i forget once in a while

i never wear my seatbelt unless im in the passenger or driver seat. I was in an accident once i was the only person not wearing a seatbelt i sure smashed my head pretty hard on the drivers seat, and since the car was stolen i had to run with my head spinning

I forgot to put my seat belt on when i took my driving exam (passed tho ) and so now I ALWAYS put it on before i start moving the car. Always.

lol yea ive seen that happened.. it happened to my cousin... he got pulled over for the seatbelt and when the cop came close to theh car he smelled some weed burning... cop searched the car and found a blunt in the ash tray

off hand i don't wear one. but the times i do wear one are far, far less, and i wouldn't be right to even put "sometimes". i've seen the results of wearing and not wearing one. and far as i can tell NOTHING is guaranteed in such a situation.

if it doesn't keep you from flying through the windshield, it jams and leaves you to sink with your car into the river. and even it did function properly, your car was wrapped around the tree. leaving an even bigger mess for the meds to clean up and bugs to feed off.

Of course it's not failsafe. Nothing is. And even you can crash horribly enough to make em redundant. But on the whole they save a lot more lives than they cost.

There is a lot of substantial evidence that proves that a seatbelt is very important. Condoms don't always stop AIDS, but you'd always wear 1 with a slut, wouldn't you?
