with the baseball season coming to a close by the mid part of next week. my question is should they knock off some games from their 162 gm season.
without a doubt play a 132 game season, end it in mid sept. get the playoffs going and the season ends by early october. because baseball shouldnt be played in 35 to 45 degree weather. thinkin from a few years back the tigers and A's in Detroit in the ALDS when it was 38 degrees at game time. and in the 97 world series the indians and marlins in cleveland when the game time temp was 36.
at least in early october the temps are warmer compared to the end of october in the eastern part of the U.S.
thats too bad the dodgers didnt beat the phillies at least a tampa and la would have been warmer. lol
