ive no interest whatsoever, like most people in Ireland who wouldnt know a wicket from an over but we beat England today. thats a major achievement for our cricket team.

As usual England play with an unjustified arrogance against the minnows. Was the same against The Netherlands, but gave it their all against India.

Was a great match. Ireland deserved their win but some of Englands fielding was shocking. As Thuggy says Englands performances against the 'minnows' are unbelieveably arrogant.

as i said i dont really know much about cricket but Ireland broke world cup records and everything to win the match. that O'Brien guy is an excellent batsman.

Yeah it did no doubting that. O'Briens innings will go down as one of the best ever but England were so lazy in the field and dropped so many easy catches.

England dropped 5 catches, O'Brien was dropped on 91 when Strauss juggled the ball about. It's fantastic for Ireland and I hope it's a wake up call for England.

^Yeah, Ireland played pretty well in all their matches though, they've slowly improved. Let's hope they move forward unlike Kenya who reached the World cup semi finals 8 years ago and pretty much stagnated.

Anyway FUCK YES beating Pakistan, watching it my pub with 30 Indians and 30 Pakistani's was epic. Too bad the Pakistanis left before it ended
