The 'Umbrella' star is reportedly thinking about rekindling her romance with Chris, who is accused of assaulting her, after he bombarded her with gifts for her 21st birthday. The 19-year-old singer sent Rihanna a host of presents including an iPod and diamond necklace and bracelet and also phoned her during her low-key party on Friday (20.02.09).

She's young and very naive. Apparently it wasn't the 1st time he beat her up or at least hit her. I wouldn't be surprised she thought it was "okay" to get beaten up like that. After all she wasn't even going to call the cops when it happened. It's a witness who did. Somebody should tell her she deserves better than that.

I also remember that everyone was downing Chris, and now all of a sudden it's like the thing to down Rihanna.

People are reporting that maybe they jumped into a conclusion and that Rihanna has a bad past as well, citing her interviews about how she would beat her brothers with glass bottles and such.

Insinuating that maybe she did the same with Chris?

I'm not sure. I would have thought they would have made Rihanna the example of a woman who is strong, doesn't go back down the cycle of the abused, a spokewoman for the battered women. Not that.

Either way, you can never tell who anyone, especially in the public eye, if they are for real or an act.

His career is based on the good man to a woman and this can hurt his image, but if it is a planned stunt or any PR then it can help put the light off of her and back on him, because even with all his collabs, she was always talked about, and that can hurt a guys ego.

They both are young and have pasts and are effected in their future whether your the bully or the victim if you don't seek help your future and past will collide.

The pair are currently spending time together at one of Sean "Diddy" Combs's homes.
