Day 54, 18:15

After being put up for eviction, Science is beginning to feel sorry for himself.

The rapper claimed not to be nervous about facing the scrutiny of the public as he's been through it before, but he did seem a little hurt that the Housemates had opted to put him through it again.

"It's just all a ploy against Science," he grumbled. "Everyone's making me out to be the bad guy."

The lyricist insisted he wasn't a villain, but a "people person" who wanted someone to confide in. "There's nobody, only got me," sighed Science. "I ain't had a hug in months."

Asked how he thought the rest of the group saw him he sulked, "Like the black sheep of the family, a dysfunctional family."

Sounds like somebody needs a hug.

PADDY POWER: Eviction Odds
Day 54, 20:20

What a day in the House! Belfast beauty Orlaith and the weird but wonderful Science have had their heads put on the block by their fellow Housemates.

Both Orlaith and Science have made a big impact on the House in their own ways and with either of them gone, the House will be a poorer place. But one must go this Friday and Paddy Power, Big Brother's official betting partner, have announced their odds on the next Housemate to see Davina on the outside.

Who will be the eighth evictee?

1/5 Orlaith

3/1 Science

40/1 Orlaith

Even though Science has been annoying a lot of people in the house - & in turn, their fans - I think he should stay. The only positive of orla staying is that shit might kick off between herm Kemal & Makosi but other than she's blase. Science, on the other hand, will give us drama non-stop with everyone.

^ well they are doing that dog task where anthony, criag and science are dressed up as dogs and they have to obbey theit trainers (they failed the task again!)

anyway it all kicked off again last night, orla cried (again) cos her and science had a massive row over a clothes horse! then science and derek had a row and then derek and maksoi! my ears are hurting today, science's voice when he shouts goes through me

So Good Advice
Day 55, 22:40

Orlaith has been advising Science how to improve his popularity in the House.

After recently having a tiff with the rapper, Orlaith decided to patch things up and offer her opinion of where he was going wrong.

"I don't want you to argue with you cos we've been through so much together," she sympathised with a sulky Science.

Science keeps his coolShe explained how she understood he was naturally a loud character, "That's your personality," she observed understandingly.

But she still thought he could tone it down a bit. "If someone's getting on your nerves just bite your tongue," she pleaded. "Then it will all be over."

Strangely Science responded by quietly mumbling, "I'm gonna."

Wow Orlaith, it's working already

Indecent Proposal
Day 55, 20:50

Kemal visited the Diary Room to pose an unusual question tonight, mainly concerning naked men.

"Y'know the cameramen?" he began innocently, "Are they naked and are they fit? Because potentially I could be surrounded by 20 fit men. Please say yes to cheer me up."

Predictably his question was met by a stony silence, so the belly dancer continued. "I feel a bit sexually lacking in here. It's been weeks now and it's come to the point where I need a man and to be honest there ain't nothing much in here."

Unfortunately Big Brother would not agree to shipping in a man for Kemal, instead wondering if he couldn't find some way to relieve his frustration by himself.

I'm soooo frustratedWith this suggestion in mind, Kemal made a new request. "Could we have some form of pornography?" he queried hopefully. "Just a little soft porn, like naked men in jeans on a truck in a farm or something. Could that be arranged? I'm not even asking for audio visual here."

But despite Kemal's meagre needs, Big Brother ruled that no aids of any kind were going to be supplied.

As a result, the diva decided he had no option but to fantasise about Big Brother. "I like your voice, but I can't see you. Maybe you could describe yourself to me," he purred.

Steady on Kemal!

FEATURE: Stomach Grumbles
Day 56, 00:00

There have been so many arguments in the House and most of them seem to have been about food. It was only Day 2 when the food fights began and eight weeks later the Housemates are still bickering about grub.

There were feuds when the very first shopping list was being done and since then there has been food hiding, sneaky eating and even pouring food over another Housemate's head.

Roberto riled some of the Housemates when he requested twenty cloves of garlic and bulk loads of pasta, rice and apples on the first shopping list. Science wanted to know where the 'biscuits, munchies and fizzy pop' were and Maxwell was angry at the amount of 'rabbit' food on the list.

On Day two, Science's chicken obsession was first revealed. After thoroughly washing his bird, Science intended to have a whole chicken for his lunch. Kemal let Science know that he wasn't very happy and the first round of the Science and Kemal 'you shut up" "No you shut up" bickering began.

Roberto found himself in a spot of bother with Lesley after he ate her steamy treacle pudding. The flirtatious Italian wormed his way out of the situation by promising to make it up to Lesley by giving her a steamy massage. Ooo er!

Then of course there was cornflake-gate. When food supplies diminished, all of the Housemates were left very hungry, well all apart from Derek. He was the early bird who certainly caught the worm, rising early to sneakily shovel cornflakes in to his mouth.

A treacley moment...Again when the food situation was dire, a hungry Maxwell asked to finish Lesley's leftovers. Roberto was none too impressed with his request and the feud resulted in Roberto pouring the leftovers over Maxwell's head. F*** about!

The Housemates were so desperate for food that Science was even willing to compromise their hospital task. He ate one of the grapes that Kemal was given to symbolise his piles condition, angering many of the Housemates.

Over the weeks, the Housemates smartened up and started hiding food in their drawers. That didn't always work though as one night saw a desperate cookie monster Vanessa and her Team Diva buddies rummaging through their drawers and bags for anything edible. They made do with lip balm!

Science is still causing trouble in the kitchen. He recently annoyed Orlaith and Craig by pinching their chips and he had a few angry words thrown at him after he had more than his share of some mince. Anthony was particularly angry shouting to Science that he 'ate the most'.

Keep an eye out for more classic stomach grumbles, no doubt there are plenty more still to come!

Sleepy Heads
Day 56, 10:00

Housemates will feel they deserve a lie in and they got it this morning before being woken by the gentle sounds of Mercury Rev.

"I like this song," said Craig, who wondered if Big Brother would play it again if he went back to sleep.

Derek had been up earlier. He did some washing and vacuuming, while everyone slept, and despite the time of year, gave a rendition of 'Away In A Manger', before returning to bed.

Eugene was already awake by the time the song 'Holes' was played and was the most energetic in the House at the start of the day.

Left a bit... and to the right... easy nowOrlaith woke to the disturbing sight of a large spot on her chin. Glancing in the mirror, she was soon unable to take her eyes of the pustulous intruder, its white head angry and mocking.

Makosi returned from the shower to report she had lost one of her bras. As Kemal and Science tried to work out where it could be, Kemal said, "None of the boys would have it," somewhat optimistically.

With Craig and Anthony back to dozing in bed, Big Brother set off a traditional alarm clock bell, which prompted Craig to sit up and evacuate his nose with his finger. Just another morning in the Big Brother House.

Check back to find what the day holds...

All Quiet On The Housemate Front
Day 56, 01:30

The Housemates are going to bed earlier and earlier. A week of more bickering and all of the canine activity must have taken it out of them.

Craig and Anthony were the last to retire at 1.30am, two hours after their Housemates. Derek and Craig's dodgy rice pudding could be the reason for their lethargy, but all of the arguing is the more likely cause.

It has been an eventful week in the Big Brother House and some of the Housemates have been on yet another emotional roller coaster.

Makosi and Kemal's love hate relationship reached new levels with them bickering, hugging to make up and then bickering again. Apparently they still love each other, but as Makosi nominated Kemal, it must be pretty tiring keeping up the pretence. It must also be pretty exhausting for Kemal to be constantly thinking that Makosi is a secret mole.

Science has had numerous squabbles with Orlaith and Craig over the week, Kemal fell out with him during the Human Dog School task, Derek still can't tolerate him and even Eugene is finding his noise too much. Things got so stressful, Derek even suggested that the Housemates ignore Science to deal with it.

Feeling a bit peaky?Orlaith has been giving Craig a run for his money in the crying stakes. She must be exhausted from all of the tears she has shed this week over wanting to leave and her run ins with Science.

Then of course there is all of the doggy action. Half of the Housemates have spent the majority of the week on all fours, only to fail the task!

Oh well, sweet dreams Housemates. No doubt there will be more shenanigans tomorrow!

The Bottom Line
Day 56, 14:40

Housemates talked about their bowel movements, with some surprising admissions from Orlaith and Makosi.

Whilst writing the shopping list they came to the subject of toilet paper.

"I only s*** once a week," said Makosi. "But when I try to get tissue it's like I'm trying to murder someone."

Orlaith was surprised by how little sitting down time Makosi allowed herself.

"I go two or three times a day," she said, to a shocked audience.

Once a week for her"No you don't!" said Kemal.

"Really? Everyday?" asked an incredulous Makosi.

"I s***, like, once a day," said Kemal, proud of his effort.

Kemal told Orlaith that her regularity wouldn't last if she stayed in the House. He and Makosi said they were clogged up and they'd be lucky if they pooed once a month soon.

"I will need colonic irrigation when I get out of here," said Makosi.

"Are you full of s***e?" asked Anthony, just out of earshot.

T For Two
Day 56, 14:00

Anthony and Craig had a cryptic sex chat this afternoon, with Craig dropping a few hints about his sexuality and Anthony shifting uncomfortably.

Craig was asking Anthony about his experiences and was suitably impressed. "Oh you're such a stud in the bedroom. You are quite agile. I bet you could perform the Kama Sutra book, how your body moves," Craig said admiringly.

"I'm very enthusiastic with different positions, like," admitted Anthony.

The sex talk got the boys all hot and Anthony asked if they could change the subject.

A man of many positions"Would you say I was more dom in the bedroom or sub?" Craig asked.

"I would say you would be the dom one because you're a dirty b******," said Anthony.

He then asked Anthony to choose which he thought Craig was, "G or T?"

"Probably both," Anthony thought.

Craig confessed he was a T. Or liked to T. Or something.

"Too f***ing right. I thoroughly enjoy it," he said.

"I can't cope with it, man," said a squirming Anthony, who had obviously never T'd in his life.

Check back for more letters shortly.

All Orlaith And No Action
Day 56, 12:00

Kemal and Makosi confided in each other in the loft and agreed with Science's theory - that Orlaith doesn't want to leave on Friday.

Kemal said Orlaith was keeping her distance from him and believed it was because of the stress of eviction night rather than his grilling of her a few days ago.

"She doesn't want to go as much as she says," said Makosi.

Kemal agreed and suggested she is simply preparing herself in case she goes. "I don't believe it for a minute," he said.

They talked about Craig adopting Orlaith as his friend and Kemal wondered what might happen on Friday.

... I too have a hinch"He'll cry if she goes," Makosi said of Craig, though the chances are there'll be tears at some point regardless.

"I've got a hinch," she said confusingly.

"So have I," said Kemal. Such is their remarkable friendship that they both have 'hinches' at the same time.

Kemal told Makosi she could be the "last woman standing". Makosi disagreed.

"Who else?" asked Kemal.

"You," she said.

Kemal laughed and said he was the "only boy with make up and heels".

Makosi said she would not feel alienated by being the only woman, should Orlaith be evicted instead of Science on Friday.

After looking at the others, she said, "They don't have boobs... well, Craig does!" Meow.

Animal Magic
Day 56, 11:00

The new day has brought an end to the Science silent treatment. He, Makosi and Kemal have been talking about music this morning - and chipmunks.

After singing the word 'Ghetto', Science sang a few words of Akon's 'Lonely'. "That is Alvin & The Chipmunks. One of those songs that everyone would love," he announced to Kemal and Makosi.

"Is it Alvin?" asked Kemal. "I thought it was just The Chipmunks."

"Jay-Z used chipmunks," said Makosi.

Science fiercely disputed this version of events.

I didn't think Alvin sang on that one!"Don't tell me what he did, because I know," he said. "Akon is the first person to use The Chipmunks in a hip-hop song."

Kemal insisted, "It is not The Chipmunks, it's a 30s song."

Science agreed it might have been a 30s song, but said there was no denying the special sound of The Chipmunks on the track.

Kemal wasn't feeling the track. He had heard it too much while in France. Science enthused about French radio, saying they played "nuff hip-hop" and "in Calais you can still get Westwood."

And it's clearly a country that embraces The Chipmunks too. Happy days.
