you sound like a guy who would be fit for the job..u have a lot to say..even if it is good or bad..it doesnt matter... contributions are always accepted here. how about it? join the streethop team...its like a dreeeam...
Since I dont have my own computer at the moment I dont think I am fit for the job. I dont wanna make a commitment I cant fullfill. Theres times I go weeks without getting a chance to get on a computer. So Until I can afford my own computer and can get back on the site regularly I think another group of dudes should get it started. Theres no point in me saying yea i'll do it, and then ImmortalTech dissappears for weeks.
But uhh I like the Idea of having heads that have somewhat different viewpoints and perspectives of hiphop.
Like u can tell Militant's a very musical dude, i think he'd make a great reviewer.
Linx! and 7syns, are imo the hip hop heads that stay most active, so they'd make great reviewers.
TheWood can be reviewing from the viewpoint of the casual listener.
.. so theres 4 that come to mind, if theres some1 else that would like to volunteer that would be great. If not I can try and stay as engaged as I can as a part of the team, and contribute as much as i can without a computer but hopefuly in the next 2 months I'll be a regular again.
oh yea, another interesting viewpoint could be the "Tupac obsessed" listener, just cuz of the nature of this site... and i dont think that should be hard to find on here. But one thing we need to keep in mind when reviewing is that we gotta try n review a range of hip hop, not just the new 50 cd and the new Lil Wayne cd. We need to review underground hip hop, experimental hip hop, abstract hip hop, and any other type of hip hop.
We can have flash back reviews like reviews of hip hop classics as to how relevant and how much they still impact hip hop today... theres alotta interesting shit we can do with the review section, we just need ppl that are ready to do it
