this my sound dumb but why cannt we as a group put in like $5 each and buy unleaked tracks and then every1 can have them i bet there are plenty of us willing to pay a few dollars for rare tracks as a whole i know we can afford to buy many tracks so why not start a fund???

Sellers want alot of money from people so they can trust them not to leak it, so that the person that the seller got the tracks from won't be mad. But if a bunch of people pitch in and don't really care because they spent 5 dollars on it and then leak it, then the seller's contact wouldn't be too happy.

It's not a bad idea. In addition, if there are enough contributers to make a large pot then maybe the "bootlegger" wouldn't mind. If we could pool together a few grand from the hundreds of active posters on this board a deal could be worked as long as the seller is trusted.

I think you can say that for just about fans of any artists nowadays. I know myself that had it not been for free downloads i woulda never discovered pac and bought all his albums since he was no longer around when i started listenin to rap.
