This is by far the funniest movie I've seen this year. It is absolutely hilarious. I fought very hard against watching this film because I thought it was going to be a corny chick flick with lame humor that most female movies contain. But it's not corny at all, save for the last 5 minutes because it has to be a happy ending.

I highly recommend this to every man to watch. If you like any Judd Apatow film (Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express, The 40 year old virgin), you will like this one too.

But.... The film is awful. I thought it was going to be the "female version of the hangover". It isn't.

Was thinking of watching it until I read this thread. Just saw extra footage of the film today, it was about a 10min argument at a jewellery store.

I thought it was hilarious. I cried laughing a few times. When Megan slaps Annie around. When Megan steals the puppies. Pretty much everything she does was a crack up. The scene when they are driving the car trying to get the cops attention (the who's driving that car one especially).

Definite classic in my opinion.

You didn't find these things funny:

1. Opening scene where he's humping her like a dog and she's not enjoying it. It might be funnier if you watch Mad Men, though.
2. When Annie and the friend getting married in the beginning discuss how guys like to cum on girls faces and how weird that is for them. That was hilarious.
3. When Annie goes completely nuts at the wedding rehearsal party and tries to eat the chocolate and everything else she did?
4. When Megan says they should do a fight club style bachelorette party and beat the shit out of the girl getting married? How do you not laugh at that? That fucking killed me, how serious she sounded. It's even funnier because her brother is marrying the bachelorette so it kind of makes weird sense at the same time.
5. Like Artsy said, any scene where Megan does something.
6. When Annie gets into a verbal fight with the little high school girl and calls her a cunt? What's not funny about a 30+ year old woman calling a 15 year old girl a cunt? Nothing, because it's fucking funny.

I do agree that women can relate to it more. But it's not like a male can't relate at all. At the risk of sounding judgmental and bitter, I think you don't like it because of other factors. It's very possible you don't genuinely find women funny or their plight (as exhibited in this movie) funny. I know I generally don't. Most female comics annoy me and I tend to stay away from every movie with a female lead actress, not even if she's really hot. Cause what's the point if she's really hot? I can watch a fucking porno instead and jerk off. Or go to the mall. And jerk off.

Yeah. I just found it obvious, and the comedy very slap stick. Not really what I find funny. I agree though, I don't usually find women funny.
