My fellow dutch friend Duke gave an amazingly smart comment when he said that Lahm could not defend for shit. I instantly wanted to smack him for being so god damn wrong and i asked him to tell me someone whos better than him....well, he said like 34 million people on this planet. :cheesy:

Philip Lahm: Class player. Poor defender. Simple as that. He's the size of a tiger prawn with poor concentration and next to non-existant marking skills.

His ridiculous pace and half-decent tackle saves so much for him it's not even funny.

Lahm can't defend for shit. Period. Who's with me?

^^id say Evra because he is a good defender and is decent going forward. Lahm is very good going forward but as Duke said, he isnt the strongest defensively. If you look back to Euro 2008, this was highlighted by some of the errors he made. The primary job of any full back is to defend well. No point having a full back who is great going forward but very weak defensively.

Evra plays for and is a vital part of the champions of Europe, plus he is great defending and very good going forward, his final ball needs work sometimes.
