Technology Best Control Pad

What do you think was the best control pad released with any console or for the PC?

Id say the Xbox 360 controller. very comfortable and very well designed. i also like the Sidewinder controller that Microsoft brought out in the 90's.

360's controller is definately the best. It's the most comfortable and works the longest time on 1 battery pack. Before that I thought normal Xbox and Dreamcast controllers were the most comfortable. The ps controller has uncomforable analogs and the worst triggers. It's also too small. Sidewinder is similar to the xbox controller.

but it hurts your fingers after holding the chunky thing after a while.

mega drive controller was a classic and the snes one was cute.

Mega Drive was nice as well.

I always thought the Dreamcast one was too chunky. I hate the Playstation one. never liked it and it was part of the reason that i never got a PS or PS2. i have a Playstation style controller for my PC as well as a Sidewinder and i never use the Playstation style one.i hate it.

The worst controller has to go to the Atari Jaguar which is probably the worst console ever released as well.

^Sidewinder was awesome. I still got mine. Too bad it doesnt work anymore.

I recently bought a logitech one but it looks just like the PS2 controller. It's decent but i still prefer sidewinder over all.

They are reviving the sidewinder series started with a mouse.

i liked the n64 controller for mario kart 64 and super mario 64.

^^yea i liked that one as well. It was similar to the Megadrive six button pad. The Saturn was a nice looking console. Its a shame that Sega made such a fuck up of it.

yeah same with Dreamcast. It was great looking and small and had great games. Sega fucks up everything good They release it, make it awesome and then cancel at the most unexpected moment.

seriously thuggy. xbox 360 controller is perfect imo.

masta, i dont know if you know this but the downfall of the Sega Saturn paid a big roll in the downfall of the Dreamcast. Decisions made by Sega in relation to the Sega Saturn came back to haunt them big time.

I dont like it. Its too big. I hate big things in my hand. Thats why I loathe myself lawlawlawl...

But yeah I don't like it, never liked the N64 one either.

its not that big. i think its perfect. where the triggers and analog sticks are positioned is spot on.
