Officially announced by WB today!

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and Tom Hardy as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.

Hathaway=meh, Catwoman=yay!, Hardy=awesome, Bane=boo, unless Nolan can convince me that Bane has another role to play than breaking the Bat, which obviously is not happening in this film.

Remember, Nolan > your life.

We'll get a bunch of people complaining about bits and pieces here and there, casting, roles, etc and in the end we'll all love the film just like it happened with The Dark Knight.

I appreciated certain things about The Dark Knight, but it wasn't really a great movie, to me. Christian Bale makes me laugh a lot when he does the Batman voice. Heath Ledger was obviously good. But I guess I'm the only one who couldn't really keep track of the movie through the nonstop explosions.

I don't like catwoman, but Nolan knows what he's doing. Everyone on here will bitch and complain about this, just like they're doing for the new dre, just like they did for the new eminem. Then it'll be released and everyone will love it. Sometimes I don't know why i go into threads like this.

Nobody thought Heath Ledger could play the Joker. Yet, he owned it.

I believe Anne Hathaway can be a great Catwoman. But I'm not sure I'm excited at the idea of Catwoman being in the movie though.

^thats why this is different. Even though they said this is going to be a trilogy, i dont think so.

I think they are making this one to lead up to the Riddler, which is what everyone wants.

no way they will let nolan leave with only 3.

movies make more than 3 now, klook at spidreman3

Anyone see Rachel Getting Married? She was a real bitch in that film and it was a great performance. I have no doubt that she can pull off Catwoman.

Why the catwoman hate? Batman Returns = Best batman movie ever.

hahaha...no...

here goes, not including animated:
The Dark Knight
Batman Begins
Batman (1989) (When BB came out, I still had this ranked higher, but that was based on nostalgia. Still a great movie, but not as good as Nolan's.)
Batman: The Movie (1966)
Batman Returns
Batman Forever
Batman & Robin

I really don't even take into consideration those last three. I like to think of the 1989 as a stand-alone.

Superman movies, yes, they're whack and I can't EVER find them entertaining, but Batman movies is like a james bond, they can always come up with new gadgets, so it's pretty dope.

^Agreed. I don't know how people don't like the new batman series. Its dark, its gritty, and has a realness too it. The others were like.. kids movies. And this is coming from someone who hates superhero movies.
