^You should definitely watch dexter. He would actually make a great riddler now that i think about it but then it would probably be too close to Dexter and that would ruin it.

If they pick Jhonny depp i hope he is not going to be goofy.

Sequel is scheduled for July 2012

The Dark Knight sequel finally has a release date. Almost two years after the killer clown crime epic dominated the box office and spawned a million Halloween costumes, Warner Bros. has announced that the still-untitled Batman 3 will be released on July 20, 2012, according to The Hollywood Reporter. (In other news, I’m going off the grid from July 19, 2012 through August 1, 2012.)

There’s not a whole lot of information about the movie, which is still in the very early planning stages. Director Christopher Nolan and writer David Goyer have always been focused on presenting a more realistic take on the Batman mythos, so we’re probably not going to see Killer Croc, Mr. Freeze, or Clayface. Even though he’s a bit more outlandish, I wouldn’t mind seeing the Riddler, if only because his presence could pump up Batman’s mystery-solving detective side. But what do I know? None of my films have ever grossed over a billion dollars.

PopWatchers, what would you want to see in Batman 3? And what should they call the thing? I’d go with something vintage, like Shadow of the Bat, but I remember reading a rumor that it might be called Gotham City, which would be nifty.

yeah, i definitely can't wait. i told my wife and she was like, "don't start counting down our lives for a movie the next two years," kinda like i did for the dark knight. the countdown to that was definitely worth it, too.

All I know is Robert Pattinson or whatever his name is better not be in it, that was a TERRIBLE idea, almost as bad as Eddie as the Riddler.. I'll have trouble seeing anyone but Jim Carrey in that role.

I'm sure Johnny could take on anything.

It's such a shame Heath isn't around for this :(

^I know cause I'm sure the Joker could have had some small part in this third instalment.

I read somewhere this was also the last Nolan Batman. Can't find my source anymore.

I don't want the Joker back if it isn't Heath.

I expect there'll be a scene where they show Joker back in Arkham or something but the character won't say anything. A real small role, like how Scarecrow was in that one scene in Dark Knight.
