Technology Audio mixing program.

I want to loop few beats. I need a simple program where I can cut, paste, loop beats and things like that.

Whats the best program?

i had one before. cakewalk was the name of it i think. i think that would be what you need.

Thanks. I downloaded that but it I didn't like it.

I searched for cool edit and downloaded and its perfect but its only trial version available.

google "adobe audition rapidshare blogspot" and you should find a full ver. cool edit is the older version of adobe audition, adobe purchased the application and changed the name but everything else stays the same.

I download one from the site but it turned out its a trial version. Then I downloaded again from different link from same page and also turned out to be trial version. The program actually looks very good. But are they all trial versions? I'm looking for permanent one.
