bartez had good ability, just that towards the eventual end of his united spell, he had a tendency to make huge blundurs.
And I would be happy with either Howard or Carroll being no. 1 for United. They're both top keepers. Just remember Howard was immense last season, he's just going through a bad patch and will soon be back to his best.

that game was awesome, viera was bricking it when keane stood up 2 him, nobody want it with keane. seeing wengers face after the final whistle was classic, a real kodak moment. it was a look of a man who has no ideas, the look of bewilderment and desperation. wenger hasnt recoverd from the 2-0 from earlier this season.
anyway, about the keepers, it just goes 2 show that united and arsenal havnt got much of a scouting system in place as people would make out. united have had 2 many keepers, something like 9 since 1999, (the worst being the italian taibi (who can forget le tissiers goal at OT), and arsenal, well they got rid of wright for no reason and hes better thre lehman or almunia, and bought in these stupid signings like warmuz. they have a keeper called taylor, whos short sighted and stack who's a rapist, not good choices 2 have?
in fact both teams probably had the chance 2 sign cech before chelsea did but didnt rate him.
