Anyone Know what happened with Twista/Joe Budden and Roc-A-Fella?

I just been listening to "Roc Cafe" from that Growth bootleg and "The Champions" and i was wondering why Twista and Joe Budden didnt end up with The Roc (before the Roc split), anyone know the full story?

twista didnt end up on the roc because atlantic wouldnt release him from his contract, as for budden i dont know.
