I watched it with 3 other people, and none of us enjoyed it.

The worst film i have ever seen.
what the? this movie is a gem! it gets funnier the more times u watch it so I suggest another go round.

this is like the most quoted movie in the past 3 years. the rap station here uses soundbytes from it. and I remember there was an espn article last year on the nba where it was comparing players to the cast of anchorman...it was hillarious. ill have to pull it up when I get home.

but I digress, I find it stunning that in a party of 3 no one found it hillarious.

Well what do all 3 of those people have in common? (Hint: look at my first post in this thread)
it has nothing to do with her being from the UK, it's about personal preferences. i've met plenty of people who thought the movie was just stupid, and not funny at all, and none of them were from the UK. personally i think the movie is hilarious, but to each their own.

Well I'm saying, basically, they don't like the movie. They generally have different tastes. Our Anchorman is their Wallace and Gromit.

I dunno about that, the peak of stupid humour is most probably Monty Python and that was created and loved over here. And our Wallace and Gromit is your Toy Story really. But yeah Anchorman is awesome and the best comedy i've seen for a while.

No, your "Over The Hedge" is our "Wallace and Gromit". Only ours is better.

It is "American" humour, but that doesn't mean Brits don't find it funny. Just like your lot liked The Office.
