Film & TV Anchorman Sequel?

Will Ferrell and his writing partner Adam McKay are thinking about doing a sequel to Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. As a matter of fact, they're thinking about putting other projects on the backburner so that they can get to it sooner.

Though there aren't yet any details on the film, Ferrell says he'd like to see Burgundy in Europe, as a European correspondent, having to speak languages he doesn't know. If it's half as funny as the first movie, it'll be another instant classic.

i dont think they will recreate what made the first one so great. i'm sure it will be funny but it wont live up to it's expectations. not many comedy sequels do

Hope they do, the first one was great. Ferrell is awesome in this role, i wanna see a spin off Old School 'Frank the tank' movie also lol.

Yeh it was called ' the lost movie' or something, it was just a movie pasted togeather using outtakes and other bits from the 1st film, was still funny tho

Anchorman is a fuckin' classic. It has stood the test of time since it's release as my favorite comedy ever. This movie has gotten more replay value than any other in my life.

It got to the point that I watched it too much and wanted new material, hoping for a second one. So this is good news. Although, I'm not sure how they would do it since they ended the movie with Ron and Veronica a bit older. I guess that doesn't matter. All I know is they need to keep the same cast. WITHOUT BRICK THIS MOVIE WILL NOT BE HALF AS GOOD!!!!

It is not the end of the world that both my boyfriend and i and 2 of his mates thought the film was crap.

I really don't understand how you can all say it is so good, but each to their own. If we all liked the same things the world would be very boring.
