Yeah it's a shot at Owen. While he was at Liverpool he partnered Fowler, Smicer, Baros, Heskey, Litmanen & never clicked with any of them.

He might of scored goals, but his partners never did & yet without him his partners score goals (bar Heskey who has never been that good - £11M hahahaha)

Yea i kno he plays for southampton, doing well also, i actually like him as a player.

Regarding the Owen situation, it could be down to the tactics also, because Houlieer or whatever played Diouf in midfield, when hes a striker, he depended on long balls to Owen, his striker partner never got the ball enough.

He has unbelieveable control especially his first touch and he's one of the greatest finishers there is. Baros on the other hand is no doubt more skillful than Nistlerooy but because he had a sublime euro 2004 everyone is quick to claim how good he is

And you think reading the game is easy? Then how come not ALL other players do what RVN does? If it's so easy then surely they should do it? Same thing with Filippo Inzaghi. These players can read the game, hence positoining at the best, they know where to run how to run, which spaces to run etc etc. It takes SKILLS to do that. Oh yea I'm not a Mn utd fan, far from it and I dislike RVN to the fullest but give the man credit where it's due.

As for Baros Vs RVN I'll answer this; Baros can never be the finisher RVN is same as RVN can't be the more complete forward as Baros is.
