Young Roscoe - Philiphornia .. I was waitin for that album and when it finally dropped I was not disappointed!
Nas - Illmatic .. I'd heard Nas' other albums before this one, and when I got my hands on it I said Wow!
2Pac - 7 Day Theory.. Again heard Pac's other albums and when I heard this I was happy he got this out after AEOM and before he died.
Masta Ace - A Long Hot Summer.. What shocked me was there were still artists out there who could release such a HOt album, real nice mastapeice!
Mos Def - Black on Both Sides.. Loved his variation on topics and his depth. Loved it! Specially the intro!
