I do that all the time to remember certain lines that I may forget. I just open my book of rhymes and jot down a line on a random page.

I have no idea what something like that should be worth, but hey, if you've got the spare $10,000, it's all good. Like I said, nothing more than 5,000 would seem 'reasonable' to me. But that's based on content, of course there's always the collecting value and all.

It's easy for me... as a matteroffact sometimes I don't even write the full lines down, I just write a word from the line down and then when I look back at it I remember the whole thing.
