when i was younger i didnt see what the big deal was, i used to think if a woman wanted an abortion then they should be able to get one. then as the years have gone by my mind has changed. even though the law in the u.s. doesnt say when life begins, i think its hard to argue that a fetus is a living being.

if a person or persons are not responsible enough to raise a child or dont want a child, but were grown up enough to create a child, there are still plenty of responsible people out there who cant have children of their own that would adopt that child.

I don't imagine many women who decide to have an abortion actually wanted to "create a child" in the first place.

I find that absurd if your having sex then what is the purpose of sex? to procreate. now i understand in cases of rape thats another thing but im talking about just everyday couples having intercourse with one another, then oops! She gets pregnant but doesnt want a baby, well dimwit shouldnt have been having sex if your not ready to deal with the possiblity that you might concieve, an just doesnt go for the woman either men too, people need ta start taking fuckn responsiblity for their damn actions. Or maybe my feelings are so strong because i have 2 kids myself, an shit i was nor my babymother were ready for kids but i cant picture my life without them now. i can agree that there are some instances that abortions should be ok, like if during birth the mother may die and you have to kill the child to save the mother ( but i think that should be the mothers choice to choose her life or her babies), but i really see irresponsibility that comes with abortions. i mean are we telling youth that "hey you dont have to worry about protection because if you get knocked up, you can have an abortion" there would be a lot of people out there who would just say "hey i dont have to worry about birth control because i can have an abortion"

If you're woman enough to lay down and conceive that baby, you better be woman enough to have it. I don't care what anybody thinks, at the moment of conception that is a life and killing it is murder. I can understand if you're raped or the baby is gonna be so severly deformed or something like that but otherwise, killing that life is wrong. I have 3 kids myself and like Kareem said you don't know love til you have kids. I raise my kids right by myself and believe me, it is extremely hard but I wouldn't trade it for nothing in the world. Even though I have 3 already and don't want any more, if I was to get pregnant, an abortion wouldn't even be an option. There are way too many people out there that want kids and can't have them and then you have these irresponsible little hoes running to the abortion clinic when sleeping with every Tom, Dick and Harry gets them pregnant. I'm sorry but I have no sympathy for anyone that has an abortion unless it's medically necessary or in the case of rape.
Also I'd like to commend Kareem for being a real man. Too many sorry ass dead beat dads not taking care of their kids, it's nice to see a man step up and take care of his responsibilities. So much love to you for that.

Yeah I can understand that. The issue of life v death doesnt even really need to come into it when what should be of greater importance is people taking responsibility. We have enough knowledge, resources, technology, options and choices at our disposal so that people neednt even have to let it come to abortion. But trusting people to exercise what they know and take responsibility has proven too much.

I used to just accept people's right to choice, but over time I think less about individual rights and more about wider duties. There are more important overarching concerns that one person and their needs and desires. There's a bigger picture and rights arent always impermeable.
