I heard that Jackie did a better job than the original Freddy ever did.

I.e. Joker - Heath Ledger (Just not as good a story line).

Robert Englund is still the better freddy, this new guy did quite well, your right Wood. i dont like the new freddy face either.


*One thing i will tell you guys about the film. the Nancy character had a Mom in this movie, unlike the OG when she had the Sheriff as her father. they never made a reference where the dad was at in this movie.*

overall Good Story for this film and good plot.

Although i went into the theatre expecting a piece of shit (especially since Robert Englund was not playing Freddy), i came out pretty fuckin surprised. The movie was actually pretty fuckin good and it was the first movie in a very long fuckin time where i saw the entire audience actually get scared alot throughout the entire movie. My only complaint is like snowman said the makeup that they used for freddy. Shit looked fuckin horrible!

Finally went around and got to seeing it.

I liked it.

I thought Jackie did do better than the other Freddie, though the original will always be a classic....or maybe I just like that they wrote his character more evil than the other? Either way, the fucker was a perv.

I noticed that it didn't really feel like any other Freddie movie though, it was a different feel.

Some parts dragged on, but as soon as it got noticeable, it changed. I didn't jump or anything, and neither did my date....but I think my date was/is a tough ass girl.

I think Jason was the better remake, so far...but now that all the Freddy story got out of the way, I can't wait to see the 2nd one. There were tons of killings.

Trailer looks awesome. I'm gonna check the movie out.

Compared to the old Freddie, the makeup looks weird, but considering "Freddy" was burned alive, I think this new Freddie looks better.
