Those of you who have the Resurrection book, if you open to page 209, on the bottom of the page is a picture of Pac, Johnny J, Big Syke and Dr. Dre at what I'm assuming is DR. Dre is standing behind the other three.

In the booklet for the Still I Rise album, the EXACT SAME PICTURE is in the booklet, only Dre is noticeably missing.

I found this odd and wonder why they edited Dre out of the pic in the SIR booklet.

The angle of the photo is simply changed in the SIR booklet and so Dre is left out, no big deal.

no it has been edited, dre is standing behind johnny j in the book, but he's missing and the background is different in the SIR booklet.

Pac and Dre towards the end of pac's life had downfalls,Dre left Death Row and pac dissed him in toss it up. perhaps Afeni didnt wanted Dre on the picture in SIR album because of that. but then for LTTG album afeni asked Dre to produce but he refused.go figure.

Hmm I never seen this picture before. Is Dre actually posing with Pac, Johnny J and Syke or is he just minding his own in the background??

Maybe both pics are taken around the same time.Dre was in the first pic but left when the second pic was taken.Or was missin 4 the first pic but just arived 4 the second one.

Exactly! That's what I was thinking too when I read post #7 by Zero Cool, but sometimes it's just better to ignore the post and let the person think what they said, or let someone else argue them.

Zero is actually one of the few people in here I have a lot of respect for and he's never been pissy to me, so in this case, rather than debating with him, I figured I'd either A. Ignore it 4 now and reply to it tomorrow or later B. Ignore it altogether C. Ignore it and hope someone else argues him for you.

I planned on choosing A and C is what occured.

I still hold much love and respect for ya though, Cool. :thumb: ;)

Considering 2pac also had beef with Nas and Biggie when he died and Afeni put both on albums with her son I'd say that your theory, while definately derived from common sense, actually doesn't make any.

LOL, nah, for real though, I thought about that at first too but after I thought about what I typed above, I ruled that motive as a motive. :thumb:

Nah, c'mon dude. The EXACT SAME poses by all three guys? The exact same expressions by all three guys, the same order of line up and the same things in their hands...C'mon.

Also, whoever else said that it couldhave been a different angle, that doesn't matter. First of all, it's not from a different angle, but even if it had been, Dre is standing DIRECTLY BEHIND Johnny J, so no matter what thousand different ways you can film that picture, Dre is going to be in it, unless someone uses computers and takes him out.

I mean, don't get me wrong, this isn't some big huge scandal or anything, lol, but to my knowledge nobody else has ever noticed this or pointed it out, and God knows people would be bombarding me if it had been. Also, despite the fact that it is a small thing, I still think it is a bit of a bitch move.

SIR is not a DR product and Dre is left in that Picture.

Still I Rise WAS a deathrow product with Amaru entertainment. At the time there were disputes between the 2 companies about logos and such. (Amaru didn't want a deathrow logo on the album) So when no suitable agreement could be reached, someone decided to exclude both the deathrow AND Amaru logo from the release, but it is/was very much a join released project.

I know...I know...wow, I was high when I typed that, lol, still high now. What I MEANT TO SAY was that Resurrection the Book WAS NOT a DR project and Dre was left in the pic.

lol, My bad.

No problem Jason. When I checked my SIR booklet I thought I had found the answer in a moment of exquisite brilliance, obviously I was wrong :(

he's edited out of the photo cause Still I Rise was a death row release. didn't have the death row logo on the back but i was on Death Row's website the other day and its pictured amongst the releases from tha row, thats prob the reason dre is left out
