11/12 Premier League thread

you said you were pissed because Steven Gerrard got away with elbowing someone.

im saying, i think Carragher deserved a red card. i.e the tackle warranted a red but i was bloody delighted he got away with a yellow.

^^he is only out for 2 weeks. that means the injury was nowhere near as bad as he was even making it out to be. he was even crying ffs and wouldnt accept Carragher's apology. id understand all that if he had broken his leg or it was badly damaged but all he got was a cut on his leg where his shin guards were supposed to be. makes me sick. no wonder people who dont really like football see it as a wusses sport. just look at some rugby players and see the hammering they can take in matches and do you see them lying on the ground crying because their leg got cut?

I heard he's out for 5 weeks/a Month, if it's only two weeks I don't know why the Man Utd fans are having a panic attack? Apparently the swelling made it impossible for the cut to be stitched and he risks infection if he plays.

i just read he will be out for just 2 weeks. not sure if thats correct though. if it is just that then it looks very bad for the player imo.

i heard rumours that Rooney was with the liverpool players after the game laughing about how Nani was crying.

Carragher's tackle still could have broken his leg. I wouldn;t accept his apology. Or flaminis. Or Rafaels.

Which sums up a footballers intellect and maturity. I would have done the same when I was a teenager.

All the reports have said it's been 5 weeks, and Man Utd are having a winger crisis as Park/Valencia are still injured and all we have is OBERTAN. If it was 2 weeks I don't think we would of cared that much.

I really doubt Rooney was laughing at it, the whole thing has been blown out of proportion. He cried as he was in pain, so what? The whole bravado, macho thing is quite funny to see from people who probably cry over lesser things, but too bad they never have 200 cameras on them. Players get emotional when they lose matches and they're in tears, no-one really says shit then.

I can't thank you for some reason but I agree. The whole situation is being dealt with so much immaturity like LOLZ HE A PUZZY HE CRIED LOL. Get over it, we have no idea how bad the pain was.

Oh dear. Gibson and O'Shea is the worst midfield pairing we've ever had.

Interested to see the twins on the wing though, Fabio plays there for the reserves and does well.

^^

lol

I remember a great Arsenal, United game of a few years ago. I think it finished 2-1 to United. It was a fantastic game. O'Shea played in midfield and scored a peach.

If I was SAF I'd play Gibson in teh middle for a while. Scholes and Carrick have been poor. And maybe with a run of games he'll start pulling the strings.

Lol @ Arsenal unable to win against that midfield. Anyway points from the match:

Smalling is awesome, we don't seem to miss Ferdinand all that much
Fabio is a better left mid than left back
Rafael did well also at right mid, love the twins enthusiasm.
Rooney is regaining form.
Brilliant to see Valencia back. Looked good.
Van Der Sar is too good to retire.
Gibson is still shit.
Hernandez's movement is class.
Scholes is really an idiot sometimes.

Arsenal - Denilson and Diaby are atrocious, Wilshere is a fine player, he will be the heartbeat of Arsenal when Fab leaves.
I hope Djourou isn't badly injured. Looked bad however.
Rosicky is rubbish also.

O'Shea is a good utility player but against an Arsenal midfield and with Gibson as a partner it looked like suicide :p But he did okay, a lot of the time it was Smalling and Vidic cutting out the passes.

Gibson is probably an improvement on Carrick right now but still, I see no talent in that guy, isn't quick, not a good passer, his long shots are 1 in 10, can't dictate the play. can't tackle, he just tracks his man until they pass it, and then he stops. His only good game this season was against Crawley.

thats the end of Arsenal now anyway. their feeble title challenge will fade away in the next couple of weeks. Only hope is Chelsea staging a comeback but then seeing that transexual winning a league with Chelsea would almost be as bad as Man Utd winning their 19th league title.

Don't you hate when Man Utd get soft penalty decisions, it only happens to them..

Oh wait lolz was that the Liverpool players pressurising the ref to get a non existent penalty?
