11/12 Premier League thread

I just wiki'd lol. Uber Nubian monster.

Pool should go for Kranjcar... since it looks like he'll be leaving in the winter and Bayern are ready to make a move for him.

^^he fought David Hay at the weekend and managed to connect with one punch in the whole match.

Audley isn't stupid. He knew months ago he had no chance. He fought for the money. He had a gameplan. Don't get hit. Land a lucky big shot. We saw how that worked out.

Boxing is one of the hardest sports out there. So I won't hate on him.....

As for Liverpool. They are going backwards. Signing players isn't going to help that. As stupid as that sounds. There's a lot of waste. A poor setup. And a few players that need to leave. They also need to decide on a system, and a style. And not the one they used against Stoke. Liverpool need to lose Roy, ASAP. HE isn't the man for the job. But who is? Kenny Dalgleish... Is not. I don't have any answers to that one.

Winning the Olympic gold medal is a great achievement but it is so far from pro boxing. It's not even in the same league. Not many Olympic boxers make it. Audley has been awful ever since he turned pro, being beaten by a bunch of bums and still gets the biggest (underserved) chance of a lifetime and he does nothing. His career has been nothing but bullshit, he was being outclassed by Sprott until he landed that left. He lost to a prizefighter champion I believe?

I know this. All I was saying was that the dedication and hard work required to win an Olympic medal is no walk in the park. He obviously is a good boxer. But.... As is obvious from his track record. He didn't have the skills at Pro level. Fair play to him though. He negotiated a good deal with the BBC after the Olympics.

Im not sure how old Haye is but Vitali Klitschko is 39 and he would rip Haye into pieces.

We'll see in the next year or so.

Just to make it clear, as I don't think Haye is a great fighter either.

I agree. Haye isn't a great boxer, the heavyweight division is pretty awful, the whole hype that he got when he beat Valiuev makes people think he's awesome, even though that giant is pretty average.
