I consider Pique a good young defender

Marquez is pretty mediocre.

yea Gallas is back to his best. always was a good defender but had been poor for a couple of seasons

Vermaelan looks good so far but still hasnt completely proven himself

Samuel is back to his best but i dont think he has done enough over the course of his career. but thats down to injuries more than anything and moving to real madrid didnt do him much good either. should be in the Argentina team.

I said Vidic.

Dunne is a very good centre half imo but hasnt played in champions league. He could have played for Liverpool imo. I wish we signed him of couple years ago. he was heavily linked. Perhaps then we could have seen how he got on in the top level of football although he has always done well for Ireland when faced with top strikers. As much as i like Dunne, i wouldnt have him in the world class bracket or anything.
 
Pique is class..He was key in helping Barcelona win everything last last year..

Every other defender I listed shits on Terry full stop..

Dunne ain't world class but neither is Terry..

You honestly believe Terry is better than Marquez??

yea he is better than Marquez. i dont think Marquez is that good at all now. He was better a few seasons back.

Puyol is the best in the world for me right now based on performances.

in terms of ability id have to say Nesta though but injuries are taking their toll on him.

Out of the ones youve listed here, i would let you get away with Puyol. The rest, no way.

Ferdinand is not better
Nesta was better, like 5 years ago (exaggerating a bit here)
Lucio, pff, no way.
Carvalho, nah, wouldnt say hes much worse but hes not better.
The rest doesnt even count because you are talking about the past.
 
well im talking about defenders that played around the same time period as Terry.

Ferdinand, as much as i dislike the cunt, is a much classier defender than Terry.

Nesta is still great. the problem is that he gets injured alot. In terms of ability he is the best in the world.

well Lucio has won the World Cup hasnt he and was a key player. i always though he was a very good player. He also plays like an old fashioned libero which involves alot more than what Terry does imo.

Carvalho was always bailing terry out. Terry got all the headlines but Carvalho was the better of the two.

Cannavaro. i dont even have to explain why he is better.
and obviously i rate the other two as being better :)

Bridge is still in the squad i think? so i dont think its gonna do any good if both of them are in the squad together. although i doubt Bridge will be in the squad for the World Cup. is he injured because he hasnt been playing much for City?
 
2-0. the other goal was a deflection from an Insua shot.

Kyrgiakos played very well again. he has been brilliant in the last 4 or 5 games.

Gerrard played much better in the second half especially after his shadow (Fabrice Muamba) was taken off.

Kyrgiakos > John Terry :)
 
fair enough. so if he is fit there is a chance he will be back up for Cole. He is shit imo but England havent got many options in that position. So i dunno how its going to work with Terry and Bridge in the squad. It would be unfair if Bridge is left off over it. Maybe they should leave off Terry lol. id laugh if that happened.

because he was playing like a useless cunt? but he has been playing well lately and im giving credit where its due.

and when i said Kyrgiakos > Terry i was obviously joking.
 
Kyrgiakos looks like a dirty sailor that rapes women from port to port.

As a footy player though, he's been doing well with Liverpool as of late.
