11/12 Premier League thread

Anyone hear anything about Spur fans yesterday chanting something about Adebayor's father washes elephants and his mother is a whore? lol. Fucked up shit.

Lol I think I posted that a couple of months ago after that match against Arsenal.

I just watched the Chelsea-Portsmouth match... well I just watched it for Begovic.

He keeped really well, but you can't get a clean sheet as a keeper when you have Pompey's defense. God damn Ben Haim is an awful footy player.

I hope Begovic leaves.

United going just as strong. :D

2-0 down to Fulham, lol

Edit: That's 3-0 to Fulham, haha.

I'm watching the City - Sunderland match. Cracking.

probably gonna be sacked because he lefted out that windbag Robinho. I reckon he is under pressure to play him in every game. How can he when Bellamy has been City's best player this season. They are a joke of a club. They let Richard Dunne go for 6 million and bought Lescott for 24 million. thats ridiculous. Their defense is a shambles now. Their chairman Gary Cook is an absolute cunt.

They are like Real Madrid in 2003 when they let Makalélé go just to replace him with Beckham... I remember Zidane saying something like "Why put another golden layer on the Bentley when you're losing the entire engine?"

Bellamy is the reason why City are playing well, and Dunne was the reason their defense was respectable last year...

Bellamy is an absolute war machine for City... He has to play every game, screw Santa Cruz, Adebayor, Tevez and Robinho when you have this kind of player, one that fights for every ball...

But hey, he's Welsh, that doesn't sell jerseys.

Same thing with Dunne... He's Irish, that's not cool... You have to replace him with a player who looks like some idiot in a Kid 'n Play movie from the '80s... Fuck Lescott.

I was always pro-City... Even when they were in League one, but now, they are getting on my nerves...

Hughes didn't do the best of jobs with City, but I'm pretty much sure that he wasn't taking all of his decisions at the beggining of the season. When he started playing the players that he should have been playing, the management didn't like that.

City won't go anywhere if they manage their club like that.

Here's what will happen to city, *taken from Wikipedia*

Club president Florentino Pérez infamously poured scorn on Makélélé's footballing abilities and proclaimed that Makélélé would not be missed: “ We will not miss Makélélé. His technique is average, he lacks the speed and skill to take the ball past opponents, and ninety percent of his distribution either goes backwards or sideways. He wasn't a header of the ball and he rarely passed the ball more than three metres. Younger players will arrive who will cause Makélélé to be forgotten. [5] ” His opinion differed from that of players like Zidane, who remarked the following after Makélélé was sold and Beckham was bought:[6]
Why put another layer of gold paint on the Bentley when you are losing the entire engine? ” In his autobiography, published in 2006, McManaman described Makélélé as the most important and yet least appreciated midfielder at Real. Retired former Real Madrid player and captain Fernando Hierro also criticised Pérez for both Makélélé's departure and the manner of his departure, saying:
I think Claude has this kind of gift - he's been the best player in the team for years but people just don't notice him, don't notice what he does. But you ask anyone at Real Madrid during the years we were talking about and they will tell you he was the best player at Real. We all knew, the players all knew he was the most important. The loss of Makélélé was the beginning of the end for Los Galacticos... You can see that it was also the beginning of a new dawn for Chelsea. He was the base, the key and I think he is the same to Chelsea now. [7] ” For the past several years since Makélélé's departure, Real Madrid have failed to progress past the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Although the Robinho situation is a factor, the Citeh fans have never liked Hughes, even when they would win they would say it was down to the team and not Hughes. Hughes deserves better than that.

Anyway, Man Utd lost 3-0, I'm not overly surprised, there has been a lack of creativity at Man Utd this season and our defence is dead.

^^did you notice that as soon as Robinho recovered from injury, he walked straight into the team and Bellamy was dropped even though he was playing very well.

Yep. Robinho is the marquee signing for Man City. So he gets special treatment. (I'm not saying this is right).

The problems lie with the defence more than anything. Richards is awful, Lescott was only known because he scored goals as a LEFTBACK for Everton. Toure was actually making Gallas look bad at Arsenal.

De Jong, Ireland, Bellamy have been their best players in the last 2 seasons, but they are not as famous as the others.

its also a joke that ireland has spent a lot of time as a sub after the season he has last season. Even though i hate him.

Barry has been rubbish for them. I watched the Spurs game the other night and he was awful.

Also, I don't know what to think of Liverpool anymore, I'm glad that Begovic got a big win, but I'm pissed mad at the whole team today... It's not even Benitez' fault..
