It's between us and them I think. Difference is the midfield, we lack consistent central midfielders this season and the wingers (bar Giggs, if he can be classed a winger anymore), i.e Park, Valencia and Nani aren't performing at a high level.

Nani is shocking.
I don't mind Park. I can see why he starts games.
Valencia..I am unsure about. Our midfield lacks a creative player.

Richard Dunne was excellent tonight. didnt celebrate his goal out of respect for the City fans. top bloke. my favourite player on the Ireland team.

I noticed that asshole Stephen Ireland was only on the bench.

yea i went down to the match. £34 - expensive when im trying to save. £71 in total including another ticket and matchday programme. Sitting in holte end lower, towards the front.

i was going to make a post while i was there but decided not to.

dunne with his first goal for villa and its against his old club. barry got abuse left, right and centre. the atmosphere was brilliant. crowd of 38,000 was pretty good as it was televised.

dunne was excellent at the back, young always mis-crosses the ball and sends it wide. it was a bit frustrating seeing him play the way he did. dunne almost scored another with his head and milner's shot was blocked. heskey missed and i think it was petrov who fired wide.

i hate 1-0 leads when the game is tight, because it doesnt mean anything until the whistle has blown. i'm still disappointed we dropped 2 points last night because i felt we could have hung on and won the game at least. bellamy's goal came from nowhere.

i enjoyed giving barry the abuse. £50 note guy became famous. also, i think there was a fight or something that happened backstage - all the police rushed backwards.
