After announcing that they were not going to appeal the Suarez ban (which I highly approve and give the organisation a lot of respect for), I think Liverpool FC should have put a gag order on any further comments regarding the matter.

Do Liverpool think Carroll is superman?

I rate Carroll as being great in the air, with a brilliant left foot, and tons of potential. He needs to work on his movement a lot though. But... Last night Liverpool left him completely isolated, even after Gerrard and Bellamy came on. He would be the only player within 20 yards of city's goal, and there would be 4 city defenders. Then a cross would come in from one of the awful Liverpool midfielders and he'd be expected to do what with it? He can't work miracles. If he is going to lay it off, or flick it on he needs support. If he is supposed to finish it, he needs other to make runs to help create the space. It was an awful attacking performance, capped off by several defensive mistakes.

Kind of a sidenote, but Sunderland scored some great goals yesterday. MON is really shinning on the coach's bench there.

Thierry Henry has completed his return to Arsenal on loan from MLS side New York Red Bulls and could face Leeds United in the FA Cup on Monday night. Henry, 34, has signed a short-term deal and will return to the USA at the end of February to prepare for the Major League Soccer season.

what do you guys think of Robbie Keane going to villa? I'm not so sure it's a good move but i'll welcome it if it means he plays and the team starts scoring more. What we lack is a cutting edge. It will only mean that Gabby will be playing on the wing and Albrighton will be on the bench because N'Zogbia will be starting.

Other thoughts on the team: I think Herd and Clark need to play more. Delph should be dropped for a bit and Ireland seems to have been playing better but I don't know how long it'll last. Hutton has been awful. Mcleish should stop playing Heskey in midfield!!

I think you can't really lose with a 2 month deal. If he sucks, he will only be there for 2 months. I'm unsure how good he is now, his last stint with West Ham he looked unfit.

Aston Villa are the least attacking team I've seen this season. So he will probably only get about 2 chances in 2 months.

Liverpool have been awful ever since Xabi left. Well not awful, but have been shit compared to a midfield with Xabi and Gerrard.

Liverpools midfield used to have xabi, masch and gerrard. That's a fantastic blend. Now they have Adam, Henderson and spearing. Still better than man utd's though lolz.
