Arsenal really fell apart. Wenger needs to buy players with a bit of bottle in summer. If not, their place in the top 4 is there for the taking.

Birmingham took just 9 points since they won the Carling Cup. Thats a shocking run of form. And they will play in the Europa League next season too lol

None of their players would interest me.In fact, out of all the players from the 3 teams that went down, id only consider Charlie Adam.

People are saying that Blackpool could qualify for it too because they have the best fair play record.

Teams that go down give up their right to play in Europe if they qualified through the fair play award. Disappointed to see Blackpool down and Wigan staying up. Birmingham really need a goalscorer, they are so frustrating to watch at times because they create hardly anything and their strikers are too busy running the channels and not being in the box.

Also, watching the trophy celebrations, lol @ Scholes when he lifted the trophy, whilst the other players like like YAY! he was like..meh..yay i gues.. I remember a few years ago he said he keeps his medals hidden away and he doesn't look at them, for someone who has won so much he doesn't really seem bothered about it. A shame if its his last season but I do feel its time he retires.

Haha i seen the front page of that paper this morning and laughed. Supposedly they'll get away with it due to Scottish Law being different from English Law.

With regards to the football today that was great entertainment. The 2 teams i wanted to stay up got relegated but shit happens. Just been reading about Birmingham and it seems relegation is going to fuck them massively. They have no real star players who they can sell for a large fee. Gardner and Dann are there only 2 decent assets IMO.

Will be interesting to see where Adam ends up. I reckon possibly somebody like Villa or Everton.

Just seen that Chelsea have sacked Ancelotti. Shocking decision IMO

Sacking Ancelotti is ridiculous, he won the double the season before, finishes 2nd and is sacked? Maybe its his Champions League record for Chelsea, a last 16 and a quarter final - still its shocking.

Paul Scholes has retired. One of the most technically gifted players England have produced, although he has bad traits such as making some shockingly bad tackles he has been one of the best England players in the last 20 years. The fact Barcelona players were arguing over who could ask for his shirt at the end of the final says it all.

Shockingly underused and poorly by England - Sven in particular. Playing him as a left winger so Lampard and Gerrard could continue to be average for England in the middle.

It was definitely his time to retire. Is he going to play for Oldham? I heard it was one of his boyhood dreams.

True, Gerrard has been better than Lampard but overall there's not many games Gerrard has been great in for England, I actually like Gerrard a lot, but if he was dropped by Fabio I wouldn't be overly fussed. Lampard was only good at Euro 2004.

He's taken a coaching position at United.

Lampard plays a disciplined role for England. He isn't given licence to get forward. He sits and plays the ball around and retains possession. It's why I hate having Barry in the team. I thought his role was to sit, but whenever they play together it seems Lampard is the defensive midfielder. I personally would rather do without Baryy, Lampard and Gerrard. I prefer the balance of the team with 1 up front with Rooney behind... Then having Jack Wilshire as our attacking midfielder. We still need someone to sit, a job Hargreaves would have been good for.... And 2 quick wingers.

I had wanted Owen to get another year at United, and he did. He might have a small role but he's still gonna score when he gets the chance.

Owen lol. I don't think he actually cares about playing any more, He's just happy to be at a big club when he's clearly past it.
