11/12 Premier League thread

what about these controversial decision?

Foy might as well pull on man utd shirt and he is doing well at breaking up the play for man utd too.

Yeah I can't believe he also gave Man Utd a penalty. Oh wait he didn't.

Also, I knew someone would mention Foy getting in the way, and ignore the one two he played with Nasri in the first half.

Anyway, Arsenal deserved the victory.

When Chelsea were managed by Jose, they were great but they did get a lot of decisions, same when Arsenal did their invincible season, I still remember the Pires dive against Portsmouth at home to draw 1-1, but due to the hate for Man Utd, people only mention it when it goes our way.

what annoyed me was on Goals on Sunday yesterday, that knob Kamara suggested that Lampards goal sort of made up for Luis Garcia's goal against Chelsea in 05. The idiots that comment on that incident really piss me off. First of all, it was never proven whether the ball crossed the line or not, secondly if it didnt Liverpool would have got a penalty because Cech took Garcia out and he went to the ball. It would have been a red card to Cech and a likely goal for liverpool anyway. Mourinho still goes on about it too. the bitter cunt.

Man Utd fans cant complain about getting bad decisions made against them because over the years they have got so many. Thats why this whole debate irritates me. Im not saying Chelsea dont either because they do. Ferguson was complaining about Lampards goal being given and showed what a hypocrite he is when doing so. First of all, he should remember the Roy Carroll incident with Spurs. Also, the Lampard goal was a very hard call for the linesman. THe post was in his way and only a small part of the ball was still on the line. I dont think it was that bad a decision at all. Ferguson argues that people couldnt complain about Vidic's deliberated handball not being punished yesterday because it was too hard to see, so does the same logic not apply to Lampards goal? we cant complain about the decision because it was too hard to see?

i see Barcelona being mentioned again as a team getting favoured. Its unfortunate that people want to believe the rubbish that horrible tramp Mourinho threw out there last week. When you analyse it all, its simply not true. im not saying that havent got some favourable decisions but you have to acknowledge that their opponents have too and teams coached by Jose Mourinho certainly have.

Manchester United fans are entitle to feel aggrieved when a decision doesnt go their way but the way their manager and supporters go on its as if they never get any themselves and that there is a conspiracy against them which really is hilarious.

I didn't even read or listen to Mourinho's rant. It was something I have noticed. Barca do get very favourable decisions.

I used to think these things evened themselves out over a season. But now I think it's time for goal line technology at least.

But you can even out even Barca's decisions, everyone seems to forget the decisions Inter got in the semi final last season - The Milito goal in the first leg was a yard offside, D. Alves was fouled inside the area, Bojan scored in the last minute but was ruled out, but what Mourinho has made people believe is that Motta's redcard was the only thing that was wrong in the game.

Chelsea's bad decisions against Barcelona can be evened out when Chelsea won 4-2 at Stamford bridge a few years ago, Terry or Carvlaho held back Valdes so he couldn't save the winning goal. Right now, it seems people are either pro Barca or against, so opinions are based solely on that.

Barcelona are no angels however, they have an ugly side to their beautiful game, and Busquets should be banned for 3 games for racially abusing Marcelo, and Real Madrid fans should be banned for a game for racially abusing D.Alves.

no you thought that they did when i argued that Liverpool got alot of bad decisions against them in 08/09

but now that its Barcelona and Manchester United in the debate involved you change your view.

as i said already, Barcelona dont really get many favourable decisions. That Chelsea game was blown way out of proportion. If you analyse the game propery and are not bitter Jose Mourinho or a retarded Chelsea supporter then you can see that the decisions given over the 2 legs of that game balanced each other out pretty much but its just that the bitter rent boys cant get over the fact that they threw away another big game that should have been closed out and ignore the fact that if Ballack stood up and closed down Iniesta's shot like a man, then we wouldnt even be talking about it now. In fact, we'd probably be discussing how Manchester United won their 4th European Cup after Chelsea bottled it yet again in the final.

ok, so Barcelona get so much favouritism, explain how Liverpool put them out in 07 then? and Manchester UNited in 08?

i remember Inter knocking them out last year or did i imagine that? Mourinho's anti football Inter Milan team, who apart from having Thiago Motta sent off for little, got pretty much every decison including an offside goal and a goal for Barcelona wrongly disallowed which would have put them into the final.

I never remember Guardiola complaining about that and thats probably the reason no one talks about those incidents. Thats because Guardiola has class and dignity. He didnt complain either that his team had to take a bus from Barcelona to Milan to play the fist leg of that game. No, he took his beating and just got on with it. Contrast that with the bitter nasty cunt that is Jose Mourinho. The same man who caused a top referee to retire. Perhaps thats why some refs might want to give nothing to him and Chelsea in europe? (Anders Frisk incident), The same man that coached that disgraceful Porto team against Celtic in Seville. It was like watching the diving championships. The same man that ran down the sidelines after Porto knocked Manchester United in 2004? Being a Liverpool fan i was happy with the result but lets not ignore that Scholes had a perfectly good goal disallowed. What about that decision? or the one to send off Andrade in their next game against Deportivo? (the semi final). Now there was a shocking decision which stopped a fine Deportivo side, that i really admired, winning the European Cup. We never heard about those decision in his rant last week.

I like Guardiola. I am not Chelsea or Real fan. I just think that the Spanish teams like to cheat and con the ref as much as possible. Barca get a lot of favourable decisions. And did against Arsenal.

Also, a few decisions going your way won't mean that you win every game. Barca are a good team in their own right.

Regarding El Classico. They both deserve each other. And Real deserve the shit more than Barca. Real cheat more, and are the greater prima donas.

Don't forget Messi scored a goal in the first leg that was wrongly ruled out for offside though. So the Van Persie red card balances it out.

After being absent since the 1-0 win over Liverpool back in January, Howard Webb is back in the Man Utd squad to face Chelsea on Sunday.....

I bet Man Utd will get a decision against Chelsea and all the controversy Chelsea had against Tottenham will be forgotten..

Also look like West Ham will be going down, is Demba ba a loan signing or permanent?
