he has played alot for Real Madrid hasnt he? bear in mind he has that illness. im sure that has affected him this season but last season he played a lot of games.

West Ham were never gonna hold out in that game. Man Utd were all over them for most of it really.

The tussle started outside the box. The actual foul is on the line. Which is a penalty.

It's so so close. That I think you have to say the ref was right. And I'd be saying that if he said it was outside the box too... lol

Vidic didn't complain hardly. So must have thought the same. And he was lucky the ref showed leniency and didn't send him off before half time. The ref was wrong though when he gave united a penalty and when he pulled hernandez back for shrugging off Da Costa.


Edit - West Ham pressed very well early on. United had to work hard and were always on the move. A good performance from both teams I think. United were made to look like they were struggling at times because West Ham United kept it so tight. But they were never going to keep the pace up. Rooney's 1st goal made them nervous, his second made the result inevitable.

Man United were 12/1 at half time to win. If I'd have known I'd have put 20 quid on. I know someone who put a ton on and ended up 1200 quid better off.

But he is hardly going to say we really want suarez and would pay loads of money for him, before he's signed.

But I see your point. It's just in politics (which is every part of our lives) people say a lot of things that they don't mean and that aren't true.

all excuses. it was Kenny's fault that he was such a disaster. Kenny was always in the shadows and all this shit. fact is, most of his 36 years in football management has seen mostly failure, yet he is always bigging himself up and stating his "achievements". he isnt a nice man either like everyone seems to believe.

fucking shit. we can blame the referee all we like but we didnt deserve anything form that game. you have to wonder about some of these players.

Kyrgiakos isnt near good enough. really fucked us up this season having to play him matches. we lose Agger and thats what we have to replace him with and it has cost us. im sure it will be put right in summer though. seasons over now.

to lose to that prick Hodgson as well makes me even more angry. he set us back so much. worst manager liverpool ever had by a mile.

I don't know why you blame Hodgson. He bought some shit in, but he bought a decent player or 2 too. Rafa was the real problem. If Liverpool continue to invest in top notch youth and bringg in players which they can develop they will fly up the league. Stay patient with Kenny and the direction the club is heading.


WBA are rejuvenated under Roy. It's essentially Roberto's team, but they have started to play very well recently.

well he is still a far better centre half then Kyrgiakos.Carragher wasnt at fault for the goals today.

i dont like Carragher at right back at all though and he is getting on now so to answer your question we do need to look at replacing him and also we need drastic changes to our defence. its been a big problem since the end of the 08/09 season imo and has got worse over time. Carragher is getting on. Kyrgiakos is not near good enough as a back up and is far too slow and cumbersome. The fact that we have been forced to play him has cost us this season. He is fine if he comes up against someone like Jones or Carew but up against a playerw with speed, he gets destroyed. Agger is the best defender at the club but his body isnt up to it unfortunately. Skrtel can be good if he has the right partner. i wouldnt get rid of him. Kelly's position is centre half really but he looks a quality young right back. Wilson is also a centre half and could be one for the future.

we are fine at right back. we need a new left back, and 2 top centre halves really.

Some quick points.

-Regarding Man Utds midfield they badly need a real quality player in there. Diarra ? Not for me, hugely overrated and gets booked every time he plays. Di Rossi from Roma would be a good signing.

-Arsenal were there usual self today. Lovely play with no end product. They need a clear out in the summer. Players like Rosicky, Denilson, Bendtner aren't good enough. I feel they miss a truely great striker, I mean RVP is class but far too injury prone. If it came to it i'd sell Fabregas to fund it.

-Liverpool definately need a new centre back. I don't think they've got any bad centre backs it's just that none of them are execeptional. Kelly looks good at right back and Johnson is playing well at left back but they look very shaky. I don't know if they get enough protection from midfield though. Mascherano was excellent at that.

LOL! Rooney had to apologise for his swearing during yesterday's game. I was pretty cracked up when he shouted "f!@#$%g get in there!" during the Wales vs England game as well. The rest of the squad seemed to join in as well.

i dont. think he has had a fine season. the reason they kept going on about him is because liverpool were close to signing him. and Spurs.

Dalglish, Redknapp and Ferguson all seem to rate him. i guess next season will be a big test of him though. he will be most likely at a new club and he will need to show that he isnt just a flash in the pan.
