I can't believe Thompson said that, surely even he can't be that stupid :blink:

For the record Messi has scored 26 goals in 35 games this season, and 19 in 22 league games.

At least Thompson can be funny at times though. He does talk shit though.

Gareth Southgate is one of the better pundits/commentators imo. There are on or two good ones on Irish tv as well like John Giles and Kenny Cunningham but the rest are very biased (Dunphy) or very annoying (Houghton, Whelan)
