11/12 Premier League thread

Yep if a foreign player goes down then he's diving and the media will have a field day but if he's English then it's fair play and it's all forgotten..

To be honest I think Crouch should have most definatley been awarded a penalty in the 2nd half though.. I can't remember who it was but 1 of the Pool players clearly dragged him down in the penalty box..

i wouldnt say they paniced. Liverpool just stopped them from playing their usual game and they had nothing after that. All they did was lump the ball up to Crouch and go in with filthy late tackles.

Besides, Spurs havent beaten Liverpool, Man Urd, Chelsea or Arsenal away from home in something like 60 matches. Dont see why it would be any different this season.

I'm not just talking about last night game.

Since they beat Wigan 9-1 and everyone was on about them finishing 4th they just fuck up on a constant basis. They do this every season. And the others like Aston Villa do the same. Every season these teams attempt to finish 4th but when then they are unable to handle the pressure.

either that or they just arent good enough perhaps?

i certainly never thought that Spurs would finish 4th. just dont think they are good enough. Im confident that Liverpool will finish 4th this season simply because they are a better all round team than the rest when all players are fit.

They probably aren't good enough. But these teams have sometimes good chances of finishing 4th but they fuck it up and lose silly games. How many points were Aston Villa ahead of Arsenal last season with a quarter of the season left, or when Spurs fucked it up 3 seasons ago when they drew with West Ham in the final game. They were 8 points clear with about 6 games left and still managed to lose stupid games.

It's annoying because these teams lose form as soon as they are 4th. Spurs did it this season, Villa did it also. Man City will probably do it also.

This is true.

Barcelona Star Thierry Henry Gifts €56,000 To Medecins Sans Frontieres To Aid Haiti Earthquake Victims - Goal.com

awww what a guy. gives almost half of his huge weekly wage to charity. who gives a fucking shit. i have more repect for sportstars who give millions to charity but keep it to themselves, not broadcast it to improve their tarnished reputation. like Craig Bellamy for example.

also Ayrton Senna privately gave millions to charity throughout his career and it wasnt known until after his death.

fuck Henry.

Hull really are a useless team. Rooney end up with 4. i have him as my fantasy football captain lol.

he has 61 points this week in fantasy football

Apparently Nani played awesome. I wish Diouf started, he probably would've scored after his hattrick in the reserves.

^^yea he did

but i must remind you- Hull City :)

Nani is a wimp imo.

Yeah it is only Hull City. But Nani needs to be confident, so if this kickstarts him it will be fine by me.

Actually as much as I have criticised Nani, its only because I can see the potential he has, hes just not showing it and he is the most frustrating player I've seen in a long time.

out of curiosity was position was he playing in? was it the left side of midfield by any chance.

because Hull have Paul McShane at right full back. Whatever about Henry cheating, we'd be going to the World Cup if it wasnt that heap of shit. It such a shame that O'Shea went off in that game. I remember when McShane came running on, i think everyone just knew deep down that he would fuck up.

Right Midfield. He has always played left midfield and been awful. But whenever he plays on the right he looks a lot better. The unfortunate thing for him was that he was up against C.Ronaldo in that position.

From what I've seen McShane wasn't up against Nani lol he was up against the number 3 for Hull City. Dawson? or someone..
