The hands on hip thing, he did that a lot at Chelsea also. I don't think hes a 90minute player. Hes 28 now and I don't think he reached the level he shouldve. Good player, but he couldve been World Class.
Benayoun has always been a better player than Cole.
I'd attend that match and participate in the fight against Millwall's fans. It'd be awesome.
Anyway, like I said, I was expecting a mid table finish for this season.
We don't fight...
And I wouldn't like to fight the Millwall fans. Did you see what happened to the Bristol City fan who helped 100's of them attack a Millwall bus?
He was treated to tea and crumpets?
He was... By a nurse.
I don't condone football violence. But it's usually hooligans Vs hooligans. And I can take that. As hopefully we will get rid of a few genetic retardations.
But the Bristol City fans attacked a bus fiull of away fans. A lot of which were kids and women. So the Millwall boys got off and gave a few a kicking. It was about 20 Vs 100. Idiotic.
On the bright side. It's nothing like the 80's...
Even though I am a Millwall fan, I quite enjoy the films about the old West Ham Firm - The ICT.
Cass is a good one. As is Rise Of The Foot Soldier.
It's not as widely publicised as it was in the 80's but football hooliganism is still about, and if anything is growing again.
There's still fights. But it's nothing like the 80's. At least not down here. It isn't worth it for the amount of time you'll get.
Yeah everything has moved away from the stadiums, it's only on rare occasions (eg West Ham-Millwall) that anything happens on the terraces.
Even that... Was West Ham really. Millwall have worked hard to remove hooligan element. The worst was a few years back when the Millwall lot attacked the Police. A few people got decent sentences though. Put a few coppers in hospital.
