11/12 Premier League thread

It's getting worse and worse for Liverpool. Joe Cole isn't the player he was. Capello knew it, but gave in to the power of the press. Fergie knew it, and quite rightly wasn't in the running for him. What you gonna do next season when Reina and Torres walk out?

Millwall 1 Watford 6.

Nothing I am not used to. And I am happy if we manage to stay in the Championship which would be a mighty feat for Kenny Jackett,, But this is the Premier League Thread, and the way things are going not only will we be unable to discuss Millwall in here, but Liverpool neither.....

No Champions League was a disaster, what about no European football. Then you can have 11 Konchesky-esque players doing fuck all. It's a sweet dream. One that looks to be coming to fruition. I loved the look on Carragher's face after Berbatov scored the 3rd...

Liverpool were poor, they did nothing in the first half, Joe Cole looks lost and looks like he can't run, the fact it was 2-2 was shocking. But fuck it, Evans is average and O'shea has started the season awfully. Anyway Berba was class, Rooney was shocking...why was he on the pitch still :wondering: But yeah. We seem to concede sloppy goals this season, we need Rio back.

nothing wrong with O Shea. done very well over the past couple of seasons. has he even being playing that badly? i only watched him against Everton and he was playing central midfield.

could have sworn Van Der Wiel moved to Bayern in summer. what happened with that? I doubt if Man Utd can afford to pay 20 million for a rb now anyway given their current financial situation.

Im not exactly sure but i think it was due to him being too expensive. In the end we didnt need someone like him that bad, especially for the price range.

He has been poor this season. I do rate him and would have him over Brown but so far he has been weak along with a couple of other players in defence. Rafael should get more chances.

i havent seen much of Man Utd tbh. i didnt even watch the game yesterday. but you have to take into consideration that he is coming back off a fairly serious injury as well.

if o shea hadnt got injured in that game v France we would have won the match.

Ferguson obviously disagrees with that opinion on o shea. he has done very well and held down a starting position. O Shea is a good player now imo. he has improved a lot.

Ferguson also thinks Gibson is a good player though, when the whole wide world can see he offers nothing but 10 long shots per game. I like O'shea. hes a good squad player but I don't like him as first choice, same with Brown and now Neville, his constant moving of positions has probably hampered him in a way because in his first season for us, he played left back and was awesome. I think we are weak at RB, Rafael I think will become our first choice RB in the coming years, hes actually a pretty good defender but will make a mistake every so often.

dont know where else to put this, but good performance by arsenal tonight. spurs played well too except for a few defensive mistakes. betley shouldve scored that header and keane shouldve put that one away where he hit the post. good attempt by pavulchenko early on. was close enough to have been a different game.

I thought Spurs were shit and got lucky....

Keane's goal was offside.... and Gibbs was onside..... Should have been 2-0 at half time.

Anyone else getting fed up with all the commentators in the Jack Willshire fan club? He played well... But Nasri played better. And sometimes the movement of the Arsenal players was awesome.... But... All they went on about was Wilshire's passing...!

^^he has his weaknesses and people complain about his lack of positioning. but he isnt that type of midfielder imo. he is more in the Lampard mould or Gerrard when he plays in midfield. dont think he will ever be as good as them though.
