If i were to be Big or Mobb Deep or any of the ppl mentioned in that song during the time it was released... well there'd be a big mess on the floor when I heard it i'll tell ya that!

Ether boring? Care to expand on that one.....?
i mean its one of those songs u listen 2 once and then everytime you hear it again you just press next on your cd player. I personally like it, but im just saying i see it in these other people around that dont really care bout the lyrical content. i like Hit em UP better cuz you aint got to listen hard to know its diss song, its straight out. I mean the first few words will tell you its a diss song. "THATS WHY I FUCKED YO BITCH YOU FAT MUTHAFUCKA"

10. Roxanne's Revenge - Roxanne Shante < who thinks this is top 10 material???
Not me anyway. The bitch twisted someone else's song but there was nothing personal about this & it wasn't really a diss record.

Real Muthaphukkin' Gz - now this is a diss record.

Hit Em Up is one of the worse disses ever. If it was made by anyone else you would think it is trash. The outlaws are horrible and pac says nothing, yeah its sounds cool but he aint sayin shit. If it was made by anyone else, worse dis ever.

If you're talking about the lyrics, well they aren't that lyrical.

But I still hold Hit Em Up in high regard because of the raw emotion expressed.

I mean, Nas can be as lyrical as he wants, but how deep did his hate for Jay run & would he have really been up for swinging at him if their paths crossed?

Tupac unleashed venomous rage on Hit Em Up &, IMO, was sincere, in the moment, about everything he said on that record.
