10 Dead in Minnesota Teen Rampage

I cannot agree, really, because I believe that the gun is just another way to kill a person. Without guns, those same teenagers would still find a way to go on a killing spree. Would we then need knife control? Now, by "gun control", do you mean simple things like adults locking up their guns from children, or banning guns, period? I'm not up-to-date with the gun control issue.

But a gun makes it easier. Gun control means for me that you really ban guns as far as possible. Won't happen in the US, I know that, but still I don't see no reason why everyone should jsut be able to buy guns in a store like candy.....don't u see what we get from this system? Protection? I don't think so....

yeah im suprised that there hasn't been much news coverage of this. with columbine, it was on the news for weeks. ive only seen a couple 5 min segments on it.local papers/news have been covering it alot but im sure thats only because i live a couple hours from bemidji. the country is too hyped up about the paralyzed shiavo lady to care about anything else.

Whether a gun makes it easier is irrelevant. Banning guns would fail worse than the Prohibition law. There's millions of guns in American households, the government doesn't have enough time to go and demand the guns to be handed over from all of the owners. Also, you have to be either 18 or 21 to purchase a firearm. At 18, you can buy a hunting rifle, and at 21, you can buy a handgun, if I'm not mistaken. I think every state has it's own law when it comes to that.

u cant just get rid of guns people gona have them no matter what
its just that people need to know how to fuckin use em

'rapists, killers' & shit, just ones whos really contributing to the crime dont usually purchase firearms legally. people in suburbs do and their lonely children pull em and shoot up schools. people get killed every few minutes somethin like 'this tragedy' happens & people get technical on shit. its a number of things that make these things happen ;he only even got the gun cus his grandfather

Score another one for PROZAC!!!

It was reported that the perp was on Prozac and had been hospitalized at least once for "suicidal tendencies."

Seriously, prozac has its place, but we tend to overmedicate people, especially the wrong people. It isn't a wonder drug and it has its dangers like:

"WARNING: IF YOU ARE APE-$#!+ CRAZY, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS INCLUDE SCHOOL SHOOTINGS!"

Honestly, beginning to wonder if the overuse of prozac is part of some giant leftist conspiracy to turn the country against the 2nd Amendment.

yeah true, but how about those racist fuckers who aint commited a crime in there life that buy these guns and shoot someone becuz of there colour, it seems like just becuz people have the right to use firearms they abuse it, eg, if a kid steals something from a shop and the shop owner shot him, the shop owner would be protected by the law becuz he was "protecting" what was his.
