heskey surprised me today. he really did, great finish. but gabby should have done better. he could have done either one of two things:

1) better finish and a goal.
2) set up heskey for a second.

i really rate petrov and gardner (as always), tonight just showed that theyre willing to do the dirty work for the team, although they may not get the glory or recognition that other players do (e.g. young, carew and gabby - who score the goals).

i agree but Petrov is able to play as well. He has good skill and passing. Good to see him back at his best although Ireland are playing Bulgaria soon.
