i just did.
If a player is pulling the jersey of the opposition player and pulls him to the ground in full view of the ref then a penalty will be awarded most of the time. Penalties have been given for a lot less.
On the other hand, if there is minor tugging and pulling in the box then most referees will let it pass and rightly so. In those cases the referee usually warns the players to cut it out.
Also, the referee had warned the other Polish defender(Zewlakow is think?) about dragging and pulling in the box just before the free-kick was taken. That makes Lewandowski look even more stupid.He is a big guy up against a smaller player. He can use other methods to keep the player out even though the Austrian was nowhere near making the ball anyway.
I am baffled that people are even arguing against this being a penalty tbh.

Poland should have finished them off easily and they didn't, and they only have themselves to blame for it.

This always happens to Poland, I really don't understand it. They can be put in the hardest qualifying group, make it out of there.. then you put them in the weakest WC or Euro group, and they don't impress. It's a shame though, I like Poland as a side.

Yeah, also just a minute before this the blonde Austrian literally pushed our defender (before the free kick was even taken) and it was alright.
But to be fair there were much more bad decisions in this game, as well as other games.

They call it self destruction for Dutch's side for this tourny. Meaning somewhere down the line they'll fuck up. I'm just waiting for the moment to come and then we will see who will suck balls, nerdo.

Now all Italy has to do is win against France and Netherlands at least tie with Romania and I'll be a happy camper.

btw Seb, i dont see you complaining about the clear goal Poland had disallowed in the match against Germany.
Loads of people agree that it was a penalty because it was a penalty.Loads of papers and websites even agree.so i dunno where this 1% is coming from.And you are wrong if you think the whole football world is laughing about this decision.I think its simply because Webb is English that there is so much anger towards him. I actually think Webb should be applauded for his decision because this kind of pulling and dragging is happening in nearly every game. How many time do we see forwards being held in the box while a corner or free-kick is being taken. There is hardly any goals scored nowadays from corners and free kicks.
