I'm by no means a fanboy since I used to prefer the Netherlands as a team but Spain simply played better football. The way Netherlands played was pissing me off but I understand your emotions, especially since it was the team that represented your country and the one you were cheering for.
I'm not emotional about football because our national team sucks big time and I wasn't that much into football over the latest few years. My judgement is based on whatever team I think plays better/nicer and I think that Spain was definitely that team. Or should I say - the Netherlands were worse because like I said, it wasn't a nice game to watch.
