Sardine man Maniche played a good tourney so far. Definitely the best (and fairest!) man on the Portugese team. Lahm has played well, as has Frings.
Wait and see tomorrow; i hope Germany demolishes the Italians.

I wasn't posting in this thread for couple of days. Since then, we saw great games and dusk of 'favourites'. Arrogant teams are going home. Germany is the last one of them and I hope they won't win this tournament athough they play great under Klinsman leadership...
I'm glad that two teams which I'm long time 'supporter' are in the semi finals - France & Portugal. Zidane proved once more that he's the best player in the last 15 years and one of the best in the history. On the pitch he outshined all Brazilian so-called 'magicans'. Anyone saw Ronaldinho? Zidane deserves another crown. His play is poetry! Allez France!
Scolari is probably the best coach on the planet, besides Hiddink, and he stormed Eriksson once again. Personally, he ended eternal English dream. He did it in 2002, 2004 and 2006. I guess that people in FA are satisfied with their choice of Eriksson successor. Once again, originators of the game, are stopped. I guess, they don't have referees from Russia which will concede goals like they did in 1966 (that Hurst 'goal'). Their greatest hope = the biggest animal...
Argentina & Brazil players should talk less because this tournament is in the Europe. It's quite different here... Argentinians don't know how to stay great when they loose. They are disgrace for the game. Brazilians can't stand the pressure and they don't have a 'G' from the game. Their arrogance is punished in a rightful way - by the French medicine...

Vieira and Zidane played one good match, in fact a very good one but only one... Klose was sharp and scored some great goals. Maniche impressed me the most, he got his moments. I think this tournament lacks a true best player. Zidane could become the best player, but there aint no player who's played well every match.
He's a good talented player that keeps trying to fuck over other players by dramatizing their fouls. That's what pisses me off about C. Ronaldo, Figo and the rest of Portugal more than the acting on it's own. They're all good players, they have a good team (Euro 2k4) they don't need to start crying with every push or shove. They should play more football and act less.
Someone mentioned an Italian in this thread? wow that is a suprise. Canavaro defenatly been doing a great job but i will go with Perlo depending on his performance today. He played good games so far. Beside him i am thinking of Zidan he played 2 great games in the knockout stages.
