Technology Wii sucks ass

well thats actually what I ment by childish (not the Beastie Boys part, but putting rappers in NBA games pisses me off too, but thats another story...)
I know Mario Kart is #1 racing game, I know it's a classic, I know I have a lot of fun when I play it with my friends cuz its really simple, totaly unrealistic... It's like a comic...
I love to fall back in my kid days and shit, but I can't imagine a 30 year old buying the GameCube to play Mario Kart all day... If I was 30 and still playing videogames (actually I play everything on my PC hehe) I think I'll play some Sports games or somethin like Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, etc...
but thats just me

it's much better to lay down with a pad and play. Also you dont have to worry about installing, disk space,requirements new hardware etc.I came to a conclusion that may be good for everyone here :thumb:
Each console is good for different group of people and someone who prefers Wii function can't understand why people spend so much money on ps3 or 360. I.. who pay'd 3500$ for a pc like a 2 months ago just to play newest games on max details and now found out that it still lags on high resolutions etc PS3 is the best console for me. And I know that there are many real gamers that claim the same. Also i feel stupid playing cartoon games and i don't really like em. And no i don't have a dvd player at home and no i'm not rich. I saved like 2 years to buy my pc. I really enjoy games as it's one of my favourite entertaining tool. When i come home from school at 5 pm, eat something, come home from a training at 9-10pm i'm really tired and then i want to lay down and play some nice video games at it's finest. That's why i'll choose ps3. Also i don't have a blu-ray or dvd player. i use my xbox now as a dvd player. And when i'll buy ps3 for stupid 500$ i won't have to worry about hardware or anything for 4+years. That's why i chose Ps3. And that's my point. I know many people feel the same but everybody have theyre own reasons to buy a next gen console. And it's okay with me. Do you think it's a good conclusion to that subject?

It's probably the best,simple and really fair article about all next gen consoles. Then it's just a personal choice what will you like the most and what functions do you need.

The "subject", is games consoles. It don't care if you're a computer programmer or a rocket scientist or Bill Gates. it doesn't matter. I will not buy a PS3 because - right now - it has no games worth buying. I don't care how good the graphics are, I don't care how fast the processor is. I don't care if it can play Blu-Ray discs, I don't care if it can write my dissertation and give me a blowjob. All I care about is playing games and from tat perspective, the Wii is better than the PS3.
You are vastly underestimating Nintendo's appeal. You're trying to act as if there are a handful of people who will buy the Wii, and everyone else will go for a "serious" console.

All i can say is this, I dont give a rats ass about the wii, Nintendo is stuck in kiddy land and will never retreat from it, an thats fine thats their gimick really imo, nintendo has been more a kids game system, 360 an playstation are more adult oriented, flame me if you want, im not a "fanboy" i own a 360 used ta have a ps1 and ps2 but no way in hell im shelling out $600 for a damn game system, damn a damn blue ray.

Anyway wii sounds interesting but Nintendo lost me years ago when they couldnt comphrehend switching to discs instead of cartridges an when they finaly did their the size of a cherry tomato (sp) and the system looks like a 2nd graders lunch box. Anyway buy what you like cause you like it thats just my 2 cents on the wii, an oh i feel bad for anyone who stands in a 4 hour+ line for a 1st generation PS3 have fun with those 1st gen bugs! If the PS3 even makes its November release, sony been fuckn up shit lately.

Oh, and the Legend of Zelda is the best franchise ever created. No doubt about that. There is NO game that is more epic.
And about the "cartoon" thing you keep saying. Why do you call Nintendo games "cartoon games"? They start out with drawing cartoons just like Grand Theft Auto. They come from an imagination, just like Halo. They are made with the highest quality and set a new standard every time they are released. Give it a break already...stop running from the truth. I'd love to get a PS3...but it's too expensive and it doesn't have enough compelling games. Since every format Sony created has failed....they are trying to force us to buy Blu-Ray by adding $200 to the PS3? They aren't tricking me. I'm not going to believe the lies like I did with the PS2. It was a good system, but more than half of its features were lies. They are digging their own grave.
And btw...when you told me my statistics were wrong? Here's statistics straight from GAME DEVELOPERS' mouths. The Wii will come out on top according to them. Think about it. These are the same people that will be making games for PS3 and 360 saying this.

The Wii is an overall better choice. It's NEW. Not a re-hashed PS2.
So yeah, I played the Wii a little earlier at the Nintendo Fusion tour. And the controller is like nothing else. Guys, get ready because this sytem is going to run shit. The Wii-mote is flawless. It works like a charm. The boxing was fun as hell.

yeah nintendo has mostly been aimed for little kids but the N64 birthed one of the dopest games ever: Conkers Bad Fur Day which by the way shits on the Xbox version. I have the Xbox version and it is boo boo

Alright i think it's time to stop arguing. People who want PS3 will buy PS3, people who want Wii will buy it too. After all Wii may be quite succesful mainly because of it's low price. People who want to play a bit or like nintendo games will do it too. Ps3 because of hitech and exclusive games but may sell less because of high price. Also xbox360 sold a lot because it came before other consoles and is a nice solution between nintendo and PS3. That's my opinion
